Maria Rasputin was born on 27 March 1898 in Pokrovskoye, Russian Empire [now Russia]. She was married to Gregory Bernadsky and Boris Soloviev. She died on 27 September 1977 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Maria records that Rasputin was never the same after the attack by Khioniya Guseva on 12 July [O.S. 29 June] 1914. Maria and her mother accompanied their father to hospital in Tyumen. Seven weeks later, Rasputin left the hospital and returned to St Petersburg. According to Maria her father started to drink dessert wines.
