Maiya Palmer is an American actress born and raised in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.
Maiya began studying acting with Tasha Smith (TSAW) while also taking classes at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. She landed her first role in an episode of TV One's "For My Man" (2017) and soon after played the role of Leslie Wilson in Sundance's "Jonestown 'Terror in the Jungle'" (2018) based on the infamous Jonestown Massacre. She has appeared in short films and has theater and print experience. Maiya has since attended the William Esper Studio in Manhattan, NY and now resides in Los Angeles, CA.
