Jeremiah Zazueta was born in the inland empire of southern California, to Linda, a young wife and mother, and Julio "AL" Zazueta, who became one of the youngest railroad engineers for Santa Fe Burlington South Railroad in 1980, transplanting the family to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. In 1981, Al Zazueta lost his life in an unfortunate incident leaving behind Jeremiah, his mom and two sisters. This tragic loss of his father and support of his mother did not derail his childhood as he excelled in baseball, football and school with a determination to make his deceased father proud. He was named an A-Plus Athlete by the Albuquerque Journal in 1992 and made the all city academic team in baseball for his outstanding GPA and play on the field. His mom remarried Leonard Candelaria, a marine veteran, who started a family laundromat business where Jeremiah worked and learned the ins and outs of running the family business throughout high school.
After high school, he attended one year at the University of New Mexico and red shirted on the football team to soon realize sports and New Mexico were no longer in the cards for him. In 1994, he moved to Arizona where he did a lot of soul searching and eventually received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Motion Pictures and Television at Scottsdale Community College (2000), and almost completed a Bachelors Degree at Arizona State University in Small Business Entrepreneurship and Theatre Arts. (2003) Instead during his last semester while doing an internship at Anonymous Content, Los Angeles, CA, he was provided the opportunity to quickly emerge in 2 years from Intern to Production Manager by working alongside the staff and freelance personnel. Since then, Jeremiah Zazueta has dedicated himself to TV and motion picture industry production and has served as Freelance Line Producer and Production Manager. Having worked on dozens of music videos and TV Commercial spots per year, he has worked with artists including Baby Face, Kelly Clarkson, the Foo Fighters, 50 Cent, Ice Cube, Nickelback, Katy Perry, Pitbull, Prince, Rihanna, JLo, Christina Aguilera and many more producing hits that have consistently topped the Billboard Charts. In the fall of 2008, Jeremiah returned to Arizona State University to complete two electives to complete and receive his Bachelors Degree.
He also had a 7 year run (2009 - 2015) at mun2 Television a company of NBCUniversal, producing and managing alongside an awesome staff of co-workers, all the On-air and Off-Air content for mun2 Televisions marketing initiatives garnishing the channel high sales revenues and viewership until the channel's demise (2015) with a re-branding initiative that changed the overall vibe of the channel itself and moving its base to Florida. Jeremiah and his family decided to stay in Los Angeles and he got back into the freelance grind of TV Commercials and Music Videos, under his Loan-out Company Golden Railroad Films, LLC.
Today, Jeremiah makes his home in the San Fernando Valley, Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys area of Los Angeles with his wife and young children and enjoys family, friends, and the occasional golf outing. He's also always spending time in his garage searching for scripts and other creatives to collaborate with on short films and someday hopes to release his own creative ideas and screenplays into the industry representing his Latin culture, strong morals, and taste of the human battles we all face on a daily basis to not fall into a spiral down, but rather making choices that keep us taking baby steps on an increasing slope of success. He also has a passion of helping others achieve their own dreams and desires in this place we call La La Land. So feel free to send him an email anytime about meeting up or getting on a call to talk about life.
