Vintage Festival has moved to be a guest of Wilderness Festival for 2012. Lower-than-expected ticket sales have forced the cancellation of the event, which was due to host performances from Chic ft Nile Rodgers, Saint Etienne, The Damned and others. Ticketholders for the July 13-15 festival will be able to claim a refund from the point of purchase or instead exchange their ticket for Wilderness, which takes place in Oxfordshire from August 10-12. Vintage's Torch Club and Soul Casino will be transplanted to a dedicated Vintage area at the Wilderness site. Six months ago, Louis Vuitton sued The Hangover 2 over Zach Galifianakis' line, "Careful, that is a Louis Vuitton," because it could cause "consumer confusion" since the bag was obviously fake. No worries though, a judge ruled against Lv earlier this week calling the allegations “not plausible” or “particularly compelling." Ha. British pop artist Sir Peter Blake has taken inspiration from his most famous artwork – the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club album cover – to celebrate the British cultural figures he most admires as he marks his 80th birthday.
Twiggy, Amy Winehouse, Grayson Perry, Jk Rowling and even Monty Python's emblematic foot all feature in a reworked version of the 1967 cover created for his birthday celebrations.
Blake, often called the godfather of the British pop art scene, said: "I've chosen people I admire, great people and some who are dear friends.
"I had a very long list of people who I wanted to go in but couldn't fit everyone in – I think that shows how strong British culture and its legacy of the last six decades is."

"Britain's Missing Top Model" is a unique format for a modeling contest that challenges the stereotypes on the fashion industry. The contest is between eight girls who are all aspiring models, but all have a disability. Each week the girls will go through a series of challenges that will eventually lead to one of them winning.
The show begins on December 5th on BBC America at 9pm Et/Pt and the first episode will introduce the girls as they all move in to a London apartment and retell their stories behind their disabilities. Their mentor, Jonathan Phang, who was a modeling agent for 20 years, takes the girls through the modeling industry and teaches them the tricks of the trade.
The challenges include modeling lingerie in a store window, walking the catwalk, recording a television commercial with male models and a photo shoot in the rain. On the judging panel are...
