However, for Michael Imperioli, who portrayed Christopher Moltisanti, the experience of revisiting his iconic character brought an unsettling revelation about Christopher’s fate. It was related to his father, Dickie Moltisanti, who died in the way any fan of the show would edxpect.

Captain America: Brave New World North America Box Office: surpasses Ant-Man(Photo Credit –YouTube/Prime Video)
Paul Rudd is known for his charming looks and comic roles, and his popularity increased further after he appeared as Ant-Man in the MCU. His MCU debut was in 2015, and the film collected a decent number at the box office in North America. However, Captain America: Brave New World, starring Anthony Mackie in the lead role, has now beaten it.
Paul Rudd’s MCU character Scott Lang has a funny relationship with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, which is also shown in the 2025 movie. Scott is a former thief who becomes a superhero with a shrinking suit and quickly becomes a fan favorite due to Rudd’s humor and charisma. Despite that, Rudd’s MCU franchise is the lowest-grossing, with an average global box office earnings of $539.4 million.

Dick Wolf's "Law & Order" franchise long ago reached "empire" status. The original murder mystery series debuted in 1990, and ran strong for twenty straight seasons, finally drawing to a close in 2010. Not satisfied with 20 years, Wolf resurrected the series in 2022, and it's been running steadily ever since. The show's first spin-off, 1999's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," which centered on cases of sexual assault, proved to be even more popular than the original, running for (as of this writing) 26 seasons. From 2001 to 2011, the two big hits were joined by the more psychologically complex "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," a series that told audiences whodunnit from the start, and it, too, was a notable success. Most recently, the L&o franchise was joined by four successful seasons of "Law & Order: Organized Crime."
But not everything in Wolf's universe was a success. Indeed, two of the shows in the...

Andre Holland stars in the new indie movie The Actor, though the role was originally developed with Ryan Gosling to play the lead role.
Director Duke Johnson is opening up about Ryan being attached to the film and how the actor stayed on as a producer after deciding not to star in the project.
“In 2019, the script initially found its way to Ryan, and he came on board, and we developed the script together through the pandemic,” Duke told The Playlist. “And the way Hollywood works, it’s so hard to schedule people that have really intense schedules, and ultimately there became some conflicts in that department. But I’m so blessed with how this one worked out. I’m very grateful to have had that time to develop the script with Ryan, but this movie was always destined for Andre; he’s the ultimate blessing to me. He’s my muse,...

Michael Gandolfini has spoken about whether he’d be open to returning as a young Tony Soprano in a potential prequel series. The son of the late James Gandolfini, who portrayed the iconic mob boss in The Sopranos, addressed the speculation in a recent interview.
When asked if he’d consider stepping back into the role, Michael made it clear that the decision isn’t up to him. “Look, it’s David’s universe,” he said, referring to the show’s creator, David Chase. “It’s up to David, ultimately. I know that David’s working on some other things, not Sopranos-related, which would be exciting.”
While he’d love to collaborate with Chase again, Michael doesn’t see Tony making a return. “I think Tony’s probably set to rest now for good, but who knows, who knows — but my guess would be, that character [has] now closed the book on that,...

When it comes to film, the period drama has always been a staple of Hollywood. Before the age of blockbuster superhero films, it seemed like every A-list actor had at least one period drama on their resume. With these films taking place in specific time periods rather than in the modern day, there is extra effort put into the costuming, props, and set design to create a realistic, immersive experience for the viewer, transporting them back in time.
While period pieces like Pride & Prejudice (2005), Emma (2020), Little Women (2019), and The Pianist are universally regarded as great period dramas, there are plenty of period pieces that have fallen under the radar in terms of audience reception or box office returns. With Emerald Fennell’s upcoming Wuthering Heights adaptation recently announced, it seems that the period drama has the potential to make a comeback, and many of these films are great examples of fantastic period dramas.

Liam Neeson's airplane action thriller from the director of Carry-On has become a global Netflix hit. Though the Irish actor rose to prominence for his performance in Steven Spielberg's acclaimed Holocaust drama Schindler's List, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, Neeson redefined himself as an action star with the Taken movies. Some of his other action movies include The A-Team, The Grey, Wrath of the Titans, A Walk Among the Tombstones, and Cold Pursuit.
Within the action genre, Neeson has collaborated with director Jaume Collet-Serra numerous times. To date, Neeson has starred in four films from the director – Unknown, Non-Stop, Run All Night, and The Commuter – all of which are action thrillers that received mixed reviews from critics, but were mostly box-office successes. Jaume Collet-Serra's latest action thriller is Netflix's Carry-On, which stars Taron Egerton as a Tsa agent who is blackmailed into allowing...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown tremendously in size since the MCU timeline first began with Iron Man in 2008. With more movies and television shows each year, more and more villains are being explored. Some are more memorable than others, of course, and the McU's track-record for truly great villains hasn't always been the best, but when they do have a good villain, they end up being very good.
Some MCU villains are memorable for their quotes, while others are known for their sheer power. Not every villain in the MCU is complex, either, seeking nothing more than world domination. Still, some villains are a bit more complex and the road they took to become villains has a little bit more to it than usual. Here are 10 MCU villains that have the most complicated backstories.

The Avengers are a strange group of heroes. For every immensely powerful being like Thor (Chris Hemsworth), there's Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), who has no powers and uses two tiny pistols. Caught right between the varying power levels is Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a.k.a. Ant-Man. Ant-Man has been the star of three self-titled movies, as well as appearing in Captain America: Civil War, and literally (albeit accidentally) saving the world in Avengers: Endgame. But, even Paul Rudd has admitted his powers are kind of... meh.

Adam Driver has had one of the more idiosyncratic career arcs of any actor working today. After making his on-screen debut in the TV series The Unusuals in 2009, Driver went on to play supporting roles in numerous independents. These included scene-stealing performances in films such as Frances Ha and Inside Llewyn Davis. He also played smaller roles in films by acclaimed directors such as Clint Eastwood and Steven Spielberg, including J. Edgar and Lincoln. Starting in 2015, he transitioned to the mainstream when he made his debut as Kylo Ren in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
Since making his Star Wars debut, the roles Driver takes on have been incredibly varied and often mocked. This is evidenced through parts in Marriage Story and this year's critically panned Megalopolis, both of which have subsequently been the subject of memes. Ever since the original Law & Order debuted in 1990, there has been at least one show carrying the Law & Order name on the air, creating one of the most popular and long-lasting television franchises of all time. The original series was a riveting crime procedural that followed the case-of-the-week format with most shows broken into two sections -- the first half detailing the police investigation and arrest of the prime suspect and the second half focusing on the prosecutors taking the case to trial.
The simple formula worked for audiences, with them returning year after year, even with the rotating cast throughout its historic run. The rest of the franchise played around with the formula, taking the action to new locations, focusing on specific aspects of the police or legal departments, and crossing over with one another. Liam Neeson's name would certainly be towards the top of the list when listing the biggest action stars working today. Neeson is perhaps best known for the Taken movies, wherein he plays a father who is desperately looking for his kidnapped daughter. More than 20 years later, Harden recalled during Sony Music Entertainment’s “Dinner’s On Me” podcast, hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, how director Nichols treated her like the “guinea pig” during the star-studded play. So, with that sentiment and because of my love for any media about the complex nature of politics we compiled a list of the best political TV shows that you should watch right now.

Zack Snyder's Twilight of the Gods on Netflix includes eight animated episodes of blood, carnage, and sex as it tells the story of Sigrid and Lief, lovers from different worlds. Sigrid, half-human and half-giant, and Lief, a mortal king, are to be married, but their union and its presumed lack of offspring brings about the ire of Thor. After a tragic event leaves Sigrid's entire family dead, the female warrior vows revenge. Thor's brother, Loki, is more than happy to help Sigrid for his ends. A battle unfolds, one that two groups of Norse gods, the Vanir and the Aesir, as well as humans.

Twilight of the Gods is a Norse-inspired animated series on Netflix by Zack Snyder and features a stacked cast of talented voice actors. One of Netflix's upcoming animated shows, Twilight of the Gods tells the story of Sigrid, a strong-willed Viking warrior. After being wronged by the Norse gods, Sigrid builds a team of adventurers to seek revenge against the deities across an eight-episode story, marking the first TV show of Zack Snyder's career.
Naturally, Twilight of the Gods' story will feature the distinct visual flair of Snyder's past efforts. This, combined with the musical score by Hans Zimmer, has led many to hope Twilight of the Gods will pair up with Snyder's best-ranked movies as one of the more story-intensive projects of his career. Zack Snyder is at it again, dividing critics with his new animated series Twilight of the Gods. Based on Norse mythology, Twilight of the Gods follows Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks) as she swears bloody revenge against Thor (Pilou Asbaek) and the rest of the Asgardian deities. The series is Snyder's sixth partnership with Netflix, and the director's first full foray into animation, and, in true Zack Snyder fashion, critics can't agree with their opinions of the show.
The early reviews for Twilight of the Gods are a mixed bag. The majority of reviews have called the series an up-and-down affair. According to critics, Twilight of the Gods combines beautiful visuals (a staple of Snyder's movies) with an undercooked story that lacks narrative depth. However, some critics absolutely adore the show. Steve Seigh of JoBlo wrote, "Twilight of the Gods is a brilliantly bloody and well-crafted epic that brings promise to the filmmakers foray into animation.

Movie lovers will know that Zack Snyder is a very divisive personality in the world of cinema, as you either love his movies or you hate them. With Snyder, there is no in-between; his vision is so specific that you will either like it completely and enjoy his movies or think it completely ridiculous and consider his movies a failure.
There are numerous projects we could cite, but that would take too long. After the recent failure of Rebel Moon, many believed that Snyder’s career was on its way to oblivion, but it seems that his latest project, the animated series Twilight of the Gods, is doing well and might just usher in some new life into his career.
The series is finally available on Netflix starting on September 19, 2024, and it seems that the first reactions are surprisingly positive, which might indicate that the series might be a hit...

All episodes of Twilight of the Gods are now streaming on Netflix, and the review embargo for Zack Snyder's adult animated Norse mythology series lifted around the same time the show premiered.
This isn't always a great sign, but the first wave of reviews have been mostly very positive.
Snyder's work has rarely gone over well with critics, but his last Netflix collaboration - the Rebel Moon movies - really came in for a drubbing. So far, Twilight of the Gods has fared a lot better.
Though there are some negative verdicts, the majority of write-ups praise the animation style, world-building, voice-acting and bloody action - although it sounds like Snyder may have overindulged in the graphic violence and sex a little too much for some tastes.
Have a read through the reviews below, and we'll be sure to update once we have a Rotten Tomatoes score.

"In a mythical world of great battles, great deeds, and great despair, Leif (Stuart Martin), a mortal king, is saved on the battlefield by Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks), an iron-willed warrior with whom he falls in love," reads the updated synopsis. "On their wedding night, Sigrid and Leif survive a wrath of terror from Thor (Pilou Asbæk), which sets them — and a crew of crusaders — on a merciless mission for vengeance, against all odds. We’ve known all along that director Zack Snyder intended to release extended, R-rated director’s cuts of his movies Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire (read our review Here) and Rebel Moon: Part Two – The Scargiver (read our review of that one Here), which were rated PG-13 in their shorter form. Snyder said that there would be an hour of extra content in each of these director’s cuts – and now the Netflix listings for the director’s cuts, which sport the titles Rebel Moon – Chapter One: Chalice of Blood and Rebel Moon – Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness have revealed just how much more Rebel Moon we’re going to be getting when these versions of the movies drop onto the streaming service on August 2nd. Rebel Moon – Chapter One: Chalice of Blood has a running time of 3 hours and 24 minutes, a full 70 minutes longer than the A Child of Fire cut.

Billions season 8 is not happening, but the universe expands with four spin-offs in the works. Despite excellent reviews and ratings, the showrunners felt that seven seasons were right for Billions. Neither of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon movies received an overly warm response from critics or, for that matter, sci-fi fans. Now, though, both Part One: A Child of Fire and Part Two: The Scargiver are getting a second chance on Netflix with R-Rated director's cuts.
According to the Justice League helmer, these will allow fans to "experience Rebel Moon the way I've envisioned it," a peculiar statement when the first two versions being released on streaming (rather than in theaters) should have meant Snyder had the creative freedom to do as he saw fit.

Netflix has shared the official Red Band trailer and key art for the two-part Rebel Moon – The Director’s Cut. Part One and Part Two will both debut on August 2, 2024.
Delve further into the mythology and madness of Zack Snyder’s epic sci-fi saga in the viciously sexier, bloodier world of Rebel Moon — Chapter One: Chalice of Blood and Rebel Moon – Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness.
In Snyder’s director’s cut, a peaceful settlement on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, and Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival.
Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Motherworld, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants, and orphans of war who share a common need for redemption and revenge.

Kevin Conroy's voice can be heard in his final performance as Batman in the new animated movie Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three. Looking back, DC Animated Universe executive producer Butch Lukic reflected on Conroy recording his lines for what turned out to be his last hurrah as the Dark Knight.
Per ComicBookMovie.com, Lukic shared how it was even joked about during the recording session that Conroy was recording Batman lines for the final time. However, it wasn't truly intended at the time for that to be the final performance of Conroy as the character. Lukic noted how nobody knew at the time that Conroy was ill, and he's not even sure if the voice actor himself was aware just yet.
