"Teen Titans" is one of the best and most celebrated superhero animated shows ever made, one that, alongside "Avatar: The Last Airbender," helped change kids' shows forever with its anime-inspired look and engagement with subjects like disability and racism. It had character arcs that developed throughout each season, fantastic animation, and a tone that balanced lightheartedness with moments of gravitas and character drama. Plus, in essence, it was a show about teenagers. This last part is important, because the change from very episodic storytelling of the (still masterful) Bruce Timm shows like "Batman: The Animated Series" or "Justice League" to adding more serialized elements and character development paved the way for darker, edgier shows like "Young Justice."

Teen Titans Go! may have its fans, but Max seemingly isn't one of them. The streamer got a head start on spring cleaning by kicking off 2025 with a content purge.
Per ComicBook.com, Max has removed the first seven seasons of Teen Titans Go! from its platform. Additionally, the original Teen Titans series which aired for five seasons and 65 episodes from 2003 to 2006 is no longer available to stream. The only silver lining is that Season 8 of Teen Titans Go! is still accessible to fans on Max. The eighth (and current) season of the fan-favorite DC animated series premiered in October 2022 and aired its most recent episode, the two-part "Four Hundred," on Nov. 30, 2024.

It's been nearly two decades since Teen Titans Season 5 concluded on a heartbreaking cliffhanger, but fans are still hungry to see the story's resolution. Since 2013, the series' comedic spin-off Teen Titans Go! has been dominating the airwaves on Cartoon Network and providing fans with plenty of laughs. Still, the loose threads of the original animated series remain. According to prolific actress Tara Strong — who voiced Raven in the original Teen Titans and continues to do so in Teen Titans Go! — a sixth season is still something the cast would love to explore.
... we all want to do Season 6 too, and personally, as well as the rest of the Titans, we're like, 'Let's do both, because they're two different shows.' There's no reason why we can't give the fans this well deserved ending to this pivotal story arc that we sort of left everybody hanging at.

"Maybe We 'Roger Rabbit' That Stuff" – Tara Strong Previews What Could Be Next for 'Teen Titans Go!'

Teen Titans Go! has just debuted its 400th episode and is celebrating becoming the longest-running DC animated series of all time. We recently got the opportunity to sit down and talk with Raven voice actress Tara Strong, who reflected on the long journey to this point and shared some thoughts on the series' future.
At this point, Teen Titans Go! looks like it could go on forever. As Tara Strong jokes, "... in our minds, we're gonna get to episode 10,000." Sure, the actress is only kidding, but she still thinks about what episode 500 might look like. Strong speculated: "Maybe there's an on-camera mix. Maybe we Roger Rabbit that stuff, you know?" She continued, "I'll suit up. Everybody will suit up. Everybody."

Teen Titans Go! is a comedic take on DC's Titans, which follows Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy as they do their best to stop crime, but often end up just finding themselves in trouble. It is hard to take them seriously, which is the fun of it all. The series debuted more than ten years ago, in 2013, has a feature film, and is celebrating its 400th episode soon.
This episode sees the Titans in stop-motion animation for the first time ever, as they celebrate being the longest-running DC animated series. The all-star cast all have other incredible projects they are a part of. However, they have created a true family with each other, which is incredible to witness. Cartoon Network will be playing all episodes of Teen Titans Go! ahead of the 400th episode premiere on November 30.

The Clown Prince of Crime is having it rough, and Batman has nothing to do with it. The Joker might have assumed he would never go through tougher times than he did in David Ayers Suicide Squad, but the night has only gotten darker after a false dawn. At the moment, everyone is rejecting and condemning Joker: Folie Deux. On Rotten Tomatoes, it scores 33% on the Tomatometer, and 31% on the Popcommeter, proving that both critics and audiences feel its a mess. On IMDb, its average rating stands at 5.3. In addition to that, James Gunn has distanced himself from it, insisting its a Warner Bros. film, not a DC Studios film.

For many, sitting in front of the TV and watching cartoons has been their favorite pastime growing up. There is something enigmatic about the colorful characters contorting their anatomical features to the fullest for slapstick humor that brings a bundle of laughter into the living room. These fond memories are always something worth looking back at.
Whether because of nostalgia or the hype around the source material, few cartoons have quite the fan following. Yet, not every animated TV show gets to be timelessas some fail miserably to impress their audience. The fallout can be harsh for those getting axed in their debut season, getting stuck in people's minds for all the wrong reasons.

The animated Teen Titans series has always been the topic of a return since the show's cancelation. While it's return to the small screen is unlikely, there's been a unique door that opened in the shape of a new comic series. Primer: Clashing Colors offers the perfect way to bring back these characters while offering up something new in return.
There are few animated superhero series that feature the longevity of the Teen Titans. With its five spectacular seasons and a style that has often been imitated but never truly replicated, it has maintained a passionate fan following since its cancelation in 2006. While the demands by fans for a new season have never been met, the most popular version of the Teen Titans has returned in the last place any fan would have expected.

Since 2010, DC Comics has been adapted to the small screen with several memorable animated series. With the tumultuous road taken by the Zack Snyder-led DC Extended Universe, it's important to revisit the animated material -- as much of it ended up being more faithful to the source material at the end of the day.
DC has a long history of creating stunning animated shows and films, often dominating this medium for superhero media. Ranging from colorful adventures to emotional character-driven stories, DC animation has delivered some of the very best adaptations of these iconic heroes. Some may be more well-received than others, but all are worth a revisit.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have had various interpretations over the years, but their popularity has remained strong. Different versions of the Turtles have showcased different levels of strength and abilities, with some being more powerful than others. When it comes to selecting the strongest Turtle, Leonardo, with his refined sword skills and leadership qualities, is the most obvious choice.

One of the main reasons TV characters can be so relatable is their development. In real life, humans are constantly growing and changing, so it's satisfying to see these realities displayed in popular shows. That being said, not every character has a straightforward arc, and some are completely thrown off track during their respective shows.
Characters like Britta from Community completely shift their personalities between seasons, effectively abandoning the original character. Other cases, like Frank Murphy from F is for Family seem to make substantial progress throughout their series, only to completely revert to their old ways. What's worse, some of these developments feel so random that they negatively impact the flow of the entire show. Whether these characters never fully change or their arc is chaotic, the result is utterly unsatisfying.

One of the most family-friendly takes on the DC Universe came about in the 2010s, with DC Super Hero Girls reimagining various superheroes and villains in a unique way. Aimed primarily at young girls, the franchise manifested in animated shows, toys and even video games. Sadly, one such animated series is now missing-in-action, and it highlights a key failure in not keeping the brand around.
The recent digital content purges of online streaming services has seen DC Super Hero Girls become unavailable to watch or purchase. This is definitely disappointing for fans and families, as they can now only watch it through physical media. The lack of a new incarnation of the series also displays a major void that DC and Warner Bros. Discovery should aim to fill.

With shows like Loki and movies like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Marvel has established itself as the source for multiverse stories in television and film. But comic book fans know that Marvel was relatively late to the multiverse game, having been beaten to the punch several decades earlier by the DC story “The Flash of Two Worlds.”
So it was more than a little satisfying to see Gar Logan aka Beast Boy take a trip through the Red that connects all of the DC worlds in the ninth episode of Titans fourth and final season, “Dude, Where’s My Gar.” As Gar (Ryan Potter) moves through the Red, we get glimpses of various other DC properties, including Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) of Stargirl, Swamp Thing (Derek Mears) from the short-lived 2019 series, as well as he and Cyborg’s animated counterparts from Teen Titans Go!.

The TV academy has honored voice-only performances since 1992, when six cast members from “The Simpsons” collectively became the first actors to receive Emmys for such work. The Best Voice-Over Performance category became an official non-juried one in 2009 and was then split into two categories in 2014: Best Character Voice-Over and Best Narrator. Exclusive: Shout! Studios has acquired North American rights to Famm Films’ topical drama I’m Charlie Walker, starring Mike Colter, following a competitive bidding situation. Shout! Factory’s multi-platform entertainment distribution and production arm plans to release the film across all major entertainment platforms, beginning with a theatrical day-and-date launch later this year.
The film based on a true story picks up in 1971, as two oil tankers violently collide off the San Francisco coast, spilling millions of gallons of crude oil and creating an environmental disaster. Against all odds, trucking and construction entrepreneur Charlie Walker (Colter) is then able to secure one of the most lucrative contracts to clean the coastline threatening much of the San Francisco Bay, with only three trucks, an incredible work ethic and a whole lot of heart. Pic recounts the racial discrimination Walker endured as he tries to save the coastline,...

The Teen Titans have proven remarkably flexible since their mid-1960s debut as a collection of sidekicks. They appealed to the young readers with Bob Haney’s laughable “hip” language and as the readership grew up, so too did the members of the team, addressing adult issues with changing times and tastes.
They were propelled from mid-list to top-seller status by the Marv Wolfman and George Pérez run starting in summer 1980. These were teens on the verge of adulthood and had problems and issues that the college-age readership were drawn to. The blend of supernatural, science fiction, and super-heroics meant the stories could, and did, go anywhere.
In 2003, things went full-circle as the more mature incarnation was youthified for younger viewers as the Teen Titans hit the Cartoon Network in a five-season run. This success led to the even younger Teen Titans Go! so all the characters and their conflicts...

Though I’ll always remain a Justice League Unlimited guy first and foremost, I’ll admit that I do like seeing DC’s younger heroes getting a chance to shine. Whether it be Young Justice or DC Super Hero Girls, we’ve seen drastically different productions meeting the needs of audiences in recent years, with each filling an important niche.
Actually, I’d be remiss if not mentioning Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, two series featuring the same cast which happen to be radically dissimilar in tone. Of course, there is some overlap on the Venn diagram when it comes to viewership, but there remain fans of the original series who simply don’t dig the current iteration.

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans. This movie is making use of two beloved versions of the DC heroes. The more serious group from the animated series that first hit the air in 2003, as well as the humor-driven version that got their start a decade later in 2013 when Teen Titans Go! Aired its first episode. Here, it's Robin v Robin, Starfire v Starfire and Santa Claus is in the mix. If nothing else, they're certainly not leaving anything on the table with this one.
The trailer kicks off with the Teen Titans Go! gang in a stadium awaiting their challengers, who are revealed to be the much more serious Teen Titans from the early 2000s. There are definitely some Thor: Ragnarok vibes going on here. There are also some mild Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse vibes, given the whole multiverse concept. The two...

Young Justice: Outsiders continues to revel in its deep cut DC Universe continuity. Also it's still really good.
This Young Justice review contains spoilers.
Young Justice Season 3 Episode 2
While the first episode of Outsiders was dark table-setting, the second episode is mostly just a blast. And not just because of that Un scene. Let's get that out of the way first, though. And see if we can do it without squealing.
We at the Den are shameless Christopher Priest fans. In addition to Deathstroke, he had the best run of Black Panther of all time, and in it was maybe my favorite single comic scene ever: T'Challa, Namor, Magneto and Doctor Doom all yelling at each other about realpolitik outside the Un. So, friends, when we got a shouting match at the Un between an Aqualad, Donna Troy, and Kaizen Gamorra (the guy the Authority killed in the first arc...

I will admit that I skipped Teen Titans Go! since I was far beyond their target audience, I was happy to see a scaled down, entry-level animated series succeed so well on cable. It honored its Marv Wolfman/George Pérez roots and had a nice run. What I never expected was to see it make the leap to the big screen and succeed as well as it did.

It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry.

You may be forgiven for not being wildly excited about the release of Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. Tom Cruise has pulled off one of his most successful missions yet.
Paramount’s “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” launched with $61.5 million when it opened in 4,386 locations, marking a franchise-best debut. That title was previously held by “Mission: Impossible II” with $57.8 million. The last iteration, “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” bowed with $55.5 million. The biggest debut for a Cruise film still belongs to “War of the Worlds” ($64.8 million).
Nevertheless, “Fallout” signals a return to form for Cruise, whose last few box office offerings had less than stellar theatrical runs. “American Made” fared best of recent offerings, while Cruise’s reboot of “The Mummy” and “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” suffered from high production costs and bleak reviews.
Overseas, “Fallout” brought in $92 million, premiering in 36 international markets. Imax accounted for $12.5 million of its $153.5 million global opening. “Fallout” opens in China on Aug. 31.

Tom Cruise’s mission, should he choose to accept it, is to steal the box office crown.
Paramount’s “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” looks to easily win the weekend, where the franchise’s sixth installment is eyeing a North American debut between $50 million and $65 million.
Stellar reviews could help “Fallout” land a series-best domestic launch. That title currently belongs to “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” which opened with $55.5 million in 2015. The highest-grossing iteration is “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” ($694.7 million), followed by “Rogue Nation” ($682.7 million), and Mission: Impossible 2″ ($546.4 million). Combined, the series has earned over $2.7 billion globally.
Due to production delays stemming from Cruise breaking his foot on set, “Fallout” is by far the most expensive film in the series with a $178 million price tag. The studio is hoping for an overseas boost when the movie opens this weekend in 36 international markets, including the United Kingdom, Russia, and Spain. It doesn’t bow in Japan until August,...
Paramount’s “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” looks to easily win the weekend, where the franchise’s sixth installment is eyeing a North American debut between $50 million and $65 million.

Picture this: a popular 1980s comic by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez called The New Teen Titans puts a bunch of sidekicks together to fight one of their rank’s evil father. After a sixteen-year run come new titles to continue the legacy in print with differing line-ups before Cartoon Network developed the property into a television series from Glen Murakami entitled Teen Titans. This thing becomes a huge winner for Cn with rabid fans and critical acclaim before moving past a planned four-season arc into a fifth with the feature Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo serving as a finale. Did WB cancel it? Did Cartoon Network? Was it a matter of Bandai owning toy rights for the show despite Mattel signing exclusivity with the station? Who knows?
Some say the end was the product of the cartoon doing too well with young girls — something logic would call a good...

I've got a fun little clip here for you to watch from the upcoming DC film Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. The clip features an action-packed chase scene where the Teen Titans are battling Evil Batman (Jimmy Kimmel). As you'll see, no matter what they throw at him, there's no stopping the Batman!
The cast of Teen Titans Go! to the Movies also includes Khary Payton (Cyborg), Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), Scott Menville (Robin), Nicolas Cage (Superman), Halsey (Wonder Woman), Lil Yachty (Green Lantern), Will Arnett (Deathstroke), and Kristen Bell (Jade Wilson).
This is probably going to be a huge hit for Warner Bros. It will be interesting to see how well it compares to their live-action DC films.

I should confess from the jump that I’m a big fan of superhero self-parody: from “Not Brand Ecch!” and “What the–?” to “Ambush Bug” and “World’s Funnest,” watching the big publishers make fun of themselves has led to some of my very favorite comics over the years.
That same reckless sense of mocking the (Bat)man in the mirror is alive and well in “Teen Titans Go! to the Movies,” a big-screen adaptation of the popular Cartoon Network series in which the titular adolescents do everything they can to make it — where else? — onto the big screen.
Unfortunately for Robin (voiced by Scott Menville), he and his teammates — alien warrior Starfire (Hynden Walch), shape-shifter Beast Boy (Greg Cipes), goth-girl mage Raven (Tara Strong), and human-android hybrid Cyborg (Khary Payton) — are the laughing-stocks of the superhero world, since this team is more interested in waffles and musical numbers than in actual heroics.

For anyone who thinks superhero movies take themselves just a little too seriously, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is refreshingly irreverent, and family friendly too. Even if you haven’t seen the Cartoon Network animated series, you surely recognize Batman’s sidekick Robin (Scott Menville). He leads a group of super friends including Raven (Tara Strong), Cyborg (Khary Payton), Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) and Starfire (Hynden Walch). Even in the world of superheroes there are too many superhero movies, and there are some hilariously serious trailers to absurd Batman movie spinoffs. Robin feels left out and sets out to get a […]

“Teen Titans Go! to the Movies,” a brash and blithe-spirited animated comedy adventure for kids, demonstrates that when it comes to superhero movies, meta has become the new normal. The whole meta fixation in mainstream movies didn’t start with superhero films, of course. It probably goes back to “Scream” (1996) or even “Last Action Hero” (1993). Yet it was still startling, in 2014, to see how far “The Lego Movie” — a picture that invited three- and four-year-olds into its big tent of fun — could push the notion of look!-we’re-using-Lego-blocks-to-construct-a-fantasy-world-that-we’re-also-deconstructing-the-concept-of.
“The Lego Batman Movie” nudged the cheeky self-awareness a notch further by using it to tweak the mindset of Bruce Wayne, a rich-dude vigilante with narcissistic personality disorder who enjoyed being Batman not because he liked saving people but because he loved the image of himself as Batman. And it wouldn’t be farfetched to say that “The Lego Batman Movie” was influenced,...

Collectively, they are known as the Teen Titans. Individually, they are known as Starfire (voice: Hynden Walch), Robin (voice: Scott Menville), Beast Boy (voice: Greg Cipes), Cyborg (voice: Khary Payton) and Raven (voice: Tara Strong). Whatever you call the team, they are outraged that every superhero has been featured in their own movie -- except for them! So, they decide to make their own big-screen adventure, no matter the obstacle. In our exclusive clip from Teen Titans Go! To the...
