Since Zaldi was always engaged in social life through his youth
(scouting and social youth holidays) it was no suprise that once he
arrived at university, he became president of the school's student
club. Working in the student pub(dj, waiter and later manager) he was
noticed by 'Erik van Looy', director of _Ad Fundum(1993)_ and after a perfect audition he
was given one of the major parts in the movie. He always managed to
combine pub-work with his TV and Film actvities. Even in 1998 when he
started his own place. In 2001 he sold both of his pubs and chose
acting as a career after playing on stage in Antwerp's most beautiful
theatre "The Bourla".
