Pawnee has taken on Hollywood, as cast members of Parks and Recreation teamed up to join the picket line amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. L’il Sebastian even helped the Parks and Rec team say (K)nope to the AMPTP!

Major Parks and Rec cast members included Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt), Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson), Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate), Jim O’Heir (Jerry/Garry Gergich), Retta (Donna Meagle), and Ben Schwartz (Jean-Ralphio Saperstein), while those that played smaller characters – Alison Becker (Shauna Malwae-Tweep), Colton Dunn (Brett), Kirk Fox (Sewage Joe), Joe Mande (Morris Lerpiss), Susan Yeagley (Jessica Wicks), and Allan McLeod (Trodd Frankensteip) also turned up. The cast of Parks and Recreation reunited on the picket line as the stars and crew members came together to fight for a better contract with the studios.

Amid the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, the cast of the NBC sitcom was seen outside the Amazon Studios in Culver City.

The picketers on the scene included Aubrey Plaza, Adam Scott, Nick Offerman, Retta, Jim O’Heir, Ben Schwartz, Alison Becker, Kirk Fox, Joe Mande, Susan Yeagley, Allan McLeod and Colton Dunn.

Alongside the Parks and Recreation stars, Li’l Sebastian, Pawnee’s famous miniature horse, also made an appearance.

April Ludgate, the character that Plaza played in the comedy, famously had a feud with Rashida Jones’s Ann Perkins. Plaza made reference to that with her picket sign that read, “Ann Perkins works for the AMPTP.”

Hallmark announced Thursday the duo will executive produce two all-new original movies, Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday and Sister Swap: Christmas in the City, and fans of the beloved stars don't have long to wait.

The world of film is obviously as broad and far-reaching as it could be, and no matter how much we might feel that certain films are so good that everyone should like them, people have differing tastes. I might think My Dinner with Andre is easily one of the best films there is, despite the fact that most people can’t finish it. Virtually every list of the best films ever includes Casablanca somewhere close to the top, but I agree with the cast and crew in thinking that it isn’t really anything special. Such is life.

But, if you don’t have Waiting for Guffman, or Best in Show, or both, on your list of favorite movies, I just don’t get you.

While the fourth season of Weeds is well underway, one of the stars of the popular Showtime series has been tending to some hosting and guest appearances. Kevin Nealon, who plays Doug Wilson in Showtime’s Weeds, recently appeared at the Marriott City Center in Minneapolis to be part of the third annual John T. Petters Foundation Legacy Gala, which had a Barcelona theme this year. The foundation, which supports the advancement of educational experiences for students by providing scholarships abroad, was founded by Petters Group CEO Tom Petters, and is dedicated to his late son who passed away in Florence, Italy at the age of 21.
