Come Back to Me is one strange, disjointed, and moderately compelling little movie. It isn’t entirely successful, and at times it veers uncomfortably close to being unintentionally hilarious, but it sticks the landing and should interest viewers with a soft spot for deliberately paced, hard-to-categorize oddities. It opens with an adolescent male overhearing an extremely violent domestic abuse incident in his home. His mother is attacked and, it seems, murdered. Flash forward to present day Las Vegas. A young couple, Josh (Matt Passmore) and Sarah (Katie Walder) introduce themselves to their new neighbor, Dale (Nathan Keyes). Dale is the boy from the beginning, all grown up, and immediately he is staring creepily at Sarah. Something is not right with him.

Sarah (Katie Walder) and her husband Josh (Matt Passmore) are at a bit of a crossroads in their marriage. She wants a child, but he’s barely even interested in the sex required to make one. It’s not that he’s stopped loving her or her body — it’s that his job as a dealer at a casino isn’t exactly keeping them flush while she works on her thesis about online pornography. Into this family drama comes a new neighbor named Dale (Nathan Keyes). Young and a bit odd, he immediately takes a liking to Sarah, and the couple’s troubles magnify overnight. She begins experiencing odd night terrors that leave her shaken, confused and lacking any memory of what happened while she was asleep. It’s probably for the best as what’s happening is a series of strange assaults, one of which involves finding Josh bound and dead with a plastic bag over...

Psycho has a lot to answer for: Half a century later, lazy filmmakers are still using "mommy issues" as the paper-thin motivation for killers of all stripes.
That's one problem with Paul Leyden's stab at psychological horror, Come Back to Me, a film in which every character states her motivation out loud, and even so-called "shocking" revelations are underlined with a hand-holding voice-over.
Sarah (Katie Walder) is a young wife who begins having unsettling visions of her own death. Again and again, she wakes up terrified, thinking it was a dream, but occasionally comes across disturbing evidence that says otherwise. Is her new neighbor, maladjusted mama's boy Dale (Nathan Keyes), stalking her? And if so, why doesn't she remember it?

It only took 11 episodes, but "To Protect and Serve Man" finally began making a hand out of some of this season’s story cards.
But before getting to Monroe, Juliette and Renard, let’s begin with the case.
As much as I tend to complain when Grimm decides to veer back to its procedural roots, tonight’s episode didn’t bother me in the slightest. It could be due to some of the serial arcs this season because they are slow burning, but then that would take away from the genuinely compelling case.
The reason the case was so captivating was because of the ambiguity surrounding Ferren. Even with the context of the Wesen world seven years later, and Hank wanting to do his best to make sure that he leaves no stones unturned before a man is set to death, it’s still difficult to piece together if Ferren...

This weeks episode of The Mentalist, ‘Not One Red Cent’, served as a well crafted and very enjoyable stand-alone after last weeks very different, very emotional ‘Devil’s Cherry’. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to review that episode. Needless to say, it was a 5 star 40+ minutes of television.
The opening and set up for the case-of-the-week involved Jane (Simon Baker) visiting a store to get his shoes repaired. For those of you who may not have noticed, Jane’s shoes are really, Really old. I loved his awkward relationship with the old cobbler, who feels faint and has to be laid to the ground in Jane’s arms after the bank robbers across the street fire bullets in their direction. This also means Jane’s shoes are unavailable to him for the entire episode, allowing him to wear a pair of ‘loaners’, in...

Die-hard "Supernatural" fans, who closely follow news from the set, may have noticed that the airing order of upcoming episodes has changed. The next new episode, airing April 15, is now "My Heart Will Go On."
The cleverly titled episode explores a world in which the Titanic never sank. The ship struck an iceberg at 11:40 p.m. the night of April 14, 1912, and sank about three hours later, at 2:20 a.m. on April 15.

Originally "My Heart Will Go On" was #18 while "Frontierland", the Western ep we've all been looking forward to, was #17. At any rate, look for "My Heart", which we finally have a synopsis for, to air on April 15th with "Frontierland" following a week later.
Episode 17 "My Heart Will Go On" Synopsis: (4/15/11 Air Date)

Tonight marks the return of Allison Mack as Chloe, and judging by the previews it’s going to be everything mega fans have been waiting for. Over on Superntural, Sam and his soul are bffs again, and we’re introduced to a new big (actually, it’s normal-sized, technically) baddie.
I’d ask what you’re preparing for snackage for the big event, but Smallvillers likely won’t be able to consume anything because their...
