Julia Weber(VIII)

Julia Weber started her career in advertising at GREY WORLDWIDE GmbH in 1995 as Assistant Producer, later she supported the marketing team at BUENA VISTA INT. (i.e. TARZAN, RUNAWAY BRIDE). While obtaining a Production and Mediaeconomics degree from Filmschool Munich, Germany, she did her first steps in Los Angeles, where she worked for Wolfgang Petersen's RADIANT PRODUCTIONS in 2001, partly in his feature film development department and on set of his CBS TV series. Later, she worked as producer for international feature coproductions at Munich based production entity SCREENCRAFT ENTERTAINMENT. In 2008, Julia expanded her global experience and network by focusing on international sales, starting at TELEPOOL GmbH as a Sales Manager. Growing further in her senior role as being the Head of Acquisitions, Development and Sales for both Feature and TV Series, she gained special knowhow in Family Entertainment, being responsible for worldwide acquisition and sales of titles such as IP-driven content AMAZING MAURICE and LASSIE, or original stories like OOOPS NOAH IS GONE, NIKO THE REINDEER or MY FAIRY TROUBLEMAKER etc. Moreover she was responsible for acquisition and sales of internationally successful titles like NICK OFF DUTY, THIS CRAZY HEART and adaptations of internationally bestselling novels by Sebastian Fitzek CUT OFF or Ferdinand von Schirach THE COLLINI CASE. End of 2023, she started her own sales & coproduction company, together with long term colleague Alice von Einem (form. Buquoy) and they joint forces with BETA FILM in Munich, Germany, by creating EPSILON FILM. Together they aim at commercial feature films of all genres, with a sweet spot in Family Entertainment.
