Peacock is reworking its slate, and it's bad news for fans of YA dramas Vampire Academy and One of Us Is Lying.
Deadline reported Friday night that both series had been canceled after their most recent runs on the streaming service.

The identity of snarky gossiper Simon Kelleher’s killer in season one was identified at the conclusion of Peacock’s One of Us is Lying season one. And, mini-spoiler alert, the gang took care of that problem (Rip Jake) but wound up creating a new one. Which, of course, leads us to season two.

Don’t Return focuses on a college student who, after the death of his father, returns to his family home (the opposite of the UK retitling of this film!) along with his best friend and girlfriend, only to uncover some bad memories from his childhood that he didn’t even realise were there.
Much of Don’t Return feels as formulaic and uninspiring as the title but the are glimmers of what could have been. Its shining light might just be its two leads. Richard Harmon plays Rodger, the brilliant mathematical college student returning home. It’s a fairly understated performance, the character isn’t very flash and Harmon is, like his co-lead Echo Andersson, best when the scenes are at their most emotional.

Happy Tuesday! Or, happy VOD movie release day.
A fun flick for supernatural thriller fans drops today, and it stars the multitalented Richard Harmon, a TV Fanatic favorite.
Playing his girlfriend is Sara Thompson, which means that The 100's Murphy and Josephine are getting it on!
As I've said so many times before, the right cast helps sell a movie regardless of budget.
In this case, the cast is minimal, with Harmon, Thompson, and Echo Andersson getting the most screen time.
The story follows Roger, a young man whose father has died.
In the wake of that loss, Roger, his girlfriend, Beth, and best friend, Jordan, return to his childhood home to deal with the aftermath.
Roger's family life is filled with tragedy. His father was the last living member of his immediate family after his younger sister died in childhood and his mother disappeared, never to be seen again.

After the death of his father, a brilliant college student returns to his family home where he learns that the horrors from his childhood aren't as dead and gone as he once thought. These memories boil over into reality culminating in an intense showdown with the terror that has come back. Richard Harmon and Sara Thompson, both from The CW's series "The 100", co-star in the film along with Echo Andersson, Marina Stephenson Kerr, Zoe Fish, Erik Athavale, and Gwendolyn Collins. The FX look a bit cheap,...

Watch the Short Film Sleep Tight: "Josh is a young gamer confined to a wheelchair. He is also a teenager craving a bit more independence and wants to assert himself, especially with his father Frank, who is having a bit of a mid-life crisis himself.
One night Josh asks to keep the light on as his father helps him get to bed. Josh hopes to exercise a little autonomy in his life, but Frank resists, seeing the request as proof that Josh is still a young child in need. But as it turns out, when the lights go out, Josh discovers he's not alone -- and needs his dad more than ever.
Written and directed by Lewis Taylor, this horror-comedy is as much about a transition in a father-son relationship as it is about things that go bump in the night. But these weighty themes are offset by a stream of cheeky British wit,...

As The 100 nears the end of its seven-season run, the creator and executive producer Jason Rothenberg was joined by cast members Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Shannon Kook, Jr Bourne and Shelby Flannery in a pre-taped panel for Comic-Con@Home to reflect about their time on the CW sci-fi series. In addition to that, Rothenberg gave audiences some vague hints about the backdoor prequel pilot to the series which aired earlier this month.
“We definitely started the season wanting to make sure we didn’t leave anything on the field,” said Rothenberg about wrapping up seven seasons. He added that he recognizes the series leaves a lot of unanswered questions throughout the seasons that he wanted to answer and said that the prequel episode helped “fill in a lot of the blanks”. For example, he pointed out that the episode addressed why the bunker was empty...

Some of The 100 cast and showrunner Jason Rothenberg took place in a pre-recorded panel today for Comic Con at Home in which they chatted about the legacy of this show and what to expect from the latter half of the show’s final season.
“We definitely started this season wanting to make sure we didn’t leave anything on the field, meaning there were certain unanswered questions over the seasons that we wanted to answer,” said showrunner Rothenberg about the plan heading into the seventh season. “And since I know people are seeing this after I think maybe the first 10 episodes have aired, you already have seen the prequel so you know that that episode kind of fills in a lot of blanks. Why was the bunker empty when they opened it in Season 4 just being one sort of question that I always had and we needed to answer this year.

Earlier last month, The 100 fandom got together in Vancouver for Unity Days 2020 to celebrate the final season of the show and to enjoy the fan-created convention once again.
With the final season still filming, there wasn't much that could be shared by the cast. In fact, everything has been very secret this time around, and we haven't even gotten a premiere date or the promise of a potential trailer.
But that is the appeal of a convention, to give fans and cast members the chance to see one another and reflect on the legacy of the show together.
That is exactly what happened from January 24th through January 26th, with fans and the cast alike spending the weekend together talking about their love for the show and their excitement for The 100 Season 7.
Cast members in attendance included Eliza Taylor (Clarke Griffin), Bob Morley (Bellamy Blake), Chuku Modu (Gabriel Santiago...

A show like The 100 is built on a passionate fanbase, so it only makes sense that the convention built around that echoes the same statement.
It was passion that pushed fans to ask for more Unity Days, and it was that reaction that pushed a fourth year of the convention coming up January 24-26, 2020.
And as any previous Unity Days attendee knows, no year is ever exactly the same. Each time the convention recreates what worked best the year before, and yet also manages to surprise the fans with unexpected ideas.
This time around that turned into Unity Days hosting their largest guest count yet, rounding out at 17 actors from the show, and that is just the backdrop for what is yet to come.
The convention has also managed to gain a lot of new faces, not just to Unity Days but to most The 100 fans as well. Actors like Chuku Modu,...

We’ve got a new trailer to share with you for the upcoming crime thriller Night Hunter. The film stars Henry Cavill and Alexandria Daddario as two detectives and a vigilante played by Ben Kingsley, who are trying to unravel a series of murders committed by a serial killer and they are trying to stop the future murders that the killer has already set in motion.
I enjoy watching these kinds of thrillers and Night Hunter looks like it’s gonna be a good one that’s filled with all kinds of twists, turns and surprises.
The movie is being directed by David Raymond and the impressive supporting cast includes Stanley Tucci, Minka Kelly, Nathan Fillion, Sara Thompson, Eliana Jones, Emma Tremblay, Brendan Fletcher, and Mpho Koaho.
Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
Henry Cavill stars in this action-packed thrill ride that will shock you at every turn.

The 100 Season 6 Episode 13 may have just aired, but already fans have questions about what comes next and what the introduction of Hope Diyoza means for Charmaine in the next season.
The potential after Diyoza went off into the Anomaly is mixed in the concept of time and another dimension, all of which doesn't even begin to touch on who took her hostage.
One thing is clear though, everyone wants to see Charmaine Diyoza back because it just isn't The 100 without her anymore.
The incredible Ivana Milicevic took on the role and became an instant favorite, creating a complicated character who became so much more than just the person on the opposing side of the war during The 100 Season 5.
Charmaine Diyoza became a fun presence on the screen and was the definition of a badass woman who shaped herself and her journey. She has come a long way, but she also...

Everything is a mess but it can only get better from here, right? Maybe.
During The 100 Season 6 Episode 12, a war broke out in Sanctum while Russell rushed to make sure hosts existed for their missing Primes. This results in Abby losing her life and becoming Simone for the time being.
Meanwhile, Gabriel arrives in Sanctum and faces off against Russell. And the group gets broken up, with some of them ending up in space and the others fighting off the red sun toxin bomb on the ground.
"Adjustment Protocol," written by the returning Kim Shumway and the well-known Antonio Negret was a chaotic victim of the too many storylines in one episode problem. Emotional beats and storytelling twists came left and right, but the pace became almost too quick for the episode that gathers everything up for the finale.

The current season of The 100 wouldn't be as memorable if it wasn't for a character like Josephine Lightbourne, hallowed be her name, defining it.
The twist though came from all the different takes that the audience got on the character, with multiple actors taking on that role.
But it was the original scene-stealing actress, Sara Thompson, who first introduced the ruthless and fascinating Josephine that would inflict total chaos on our favorite female lead.
Sara managed to intrigue us with a simple flashback, and from then on we got the privilege of seeing her grace our screens in a unique portrayal of Josephine in her shared mind-space with Clarke Griffin.
And while Josephine was killed by the joint effort of Clarke and Bellamy (and Gabriel) during The 100 Season 6 Episode 10, her legacy still likes on and so does the hope that we will see her again.

We have an insane trailer for you to check out that looks very much in the same vein as Silence of the Lambs and Se7en. It’s a serial killer movie that isn’t all about finding the killer, so much as unraveling the murders he has committed and the ones he has already put in motion. Henry Cavill, Alexandria Daddario, and Ben Kingsley are the police trying to stop him, and David Raymond is behind the camera making his directorial debut. The all-star cast also includes Stanley Tucci, Minka Kelly, Nathan Fillion, Sara Thompson, Eliana Jones, Emma Tremblay, Brendan Fletcher, and Mpho Koaho.
Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
Henry Cavill stars in this action-packed thrill ride that will shock you at every turn. When police detective Marshall (Cavill) and local vigilante Cooper (Ben Kingsley) arrest a serial killer targeting women, they discover his game has just begun.

"I'm not surprised by what you're up against." Saban Films has released an official Us trailer for the dark crime thriller Night Hunter, also known as just Nomis for the international release. The film is about a detective and the police who get "caught up in a dangerous scheme involving a recently arrested, troubled man who's linked to years of female abductions and murders." We ran an international trailer a few months ago, and this new Us trailer is pretty much the same with more quotes. This features quite an impressive ensemble: Ben Kingsley, Alexandra Daddario, Henry Cavill, Minka Kelly, Stanley Tucci, Nathan Fillion, Sara Thompson, Eliana Jones, Emma Tremblay, Brendan Fletcher, and Mpho Koaho. Described as "a pulse-pounding thriller where the only way out is through the mind of a killer... Tick-tock." The 100‘s sixth season has been a parade of surprises, but be honest — has any moment thrown you for more of a loop than hearing Clarke say, “That Murphy is kind of cute”?
To be fair, context is pretty important here: Clarke’s body is currently being piloted by a centuries-old lunatic named Josephine. And even though “Murphine” has formed somewhat of an uneasy alliance, it doesn’t sound like fans should expect that relationship to develop any further.
“Yeah, I was wondering about that,” Richard Harmon tells TVLine with a laugh. “I don’t think this is a spoiler,...

Kristin Kreuk has come home — in more ways than one. The Smallville and Beauty and the Beast vet returns to The CW in Burden of Truth, a Canadian legal mystery series that made its stateside debut on Wednesday.
Kreuk’s character — corporate lawyer Joanna — has gone back to her roots, too. Hoping to impress a potential client, she travels to her tiny hometown of Millwood, where female high school students are experiencing seizures and tics after getting the Hpv vaccine. But rather than trying to protect the girls, Joanna is representing the big company responsible for manufacturing the shot. “No filter.
