Since receiving a Bachelor of Architecture, Matthew Talbot-Kelly's
creative output is diverse - film and animation, physical and interactive art, architecture, iOS
apps, and the design of exhibits, gardens, ebooks, static & motion graphics.
Talbot-Kelly is the award winning writer/director/production designer of the hybrid experimental animated and live action collage films "Blind Man's Eye" (2007) & "The Trembling Veil of Bones" (2010), which have screened the world over to great acclaim. Talbot-Kelly is the founder and creative director of the film & animation production company Glimpse Digital (2005-2011). Through his company Moving Tales (2010 - present), Talbot-Kelly is the creator/director/production designer of five acclaimed interactive animated iPad stories - including the genre defining and world-wide best-selling "The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross" iPad app (2010) - and one of the world's first interactive ebooks (Elly's Lost & Found Sounds, 2012).
Talbot-Kelly raised three children with his ex partner, artist/writer Jacqueline O Rogers, in a small town outside of Vancouver with bears, eagles, deer and cougars as neighbours.
Recently, Talbot-Kelly has focussed on "plying his trade" as a nomadic film matte painter & environment designer while continuing to explore various mixed media and interactive art projects in national and international contexts.
