- On Broadway in "Conversations with My Father", "Hamlet" and "The Cherry Orchard", he has performed regionally at the La Jolla Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse, Indiana Repertory, South Coast Repertory and Seattle Repertory. His many Shakespearean plays include "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Macbeth".
- Well known for voice work. Repped by Commercial Talent Agency, his best known voiceover occurred in the 1970s for Ragu Spaghetti Sauce in which he uttered the immortal words, "Now, that's Italian!".
- For his high school talent show called "The Varsity Show" he did a dead-on imitation of Shelley Berman.
