It’s been a hot minute since we’ve thought about One Life to Live’s Dorian Lord. The manipulative and vindictive woman made a long list of enemies in Llanview over the years. Her niece, Blair Cramer, traveled to Port Charles in recent years — a crossover with General Hospital. Fans have been clamoring for more characters from ABC’s shared soaps universe to appear on Gh, and Dorian’s former portrayer, Robin Strasser, answered one burning question with a shocking answer.
The Hospital Is Full
On X, formerly Twitter, a fan told Strasser, “You need to be on @GeneralHospital as a long-lost Casadine – perhaps connected to Sidwell [Carlo Rota] and is nursing Spencer [Nicholas Alexander Chavez] back to health because you are a doctor! How is that for a story line @valentinifrank?” Of course, Frank Valentini is Gh’s executive producer, and Strasser worked with him previously when he was part of Oltl.

Paradise is a new Hulu series starring Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden. A few more familiar faces pop up for soap fans.
From Psycho Doctor To Secret Service
Not too long ago, Darin Toonder tortured Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) on General Hospital. The actor played the evil Dr. Montague, who worked with Gladys (ex-Bonnie Burroughs) to institutionalize her daughter-in-law. He drugged her, held her hostage, and tried to kill her until Cody (Josh Kelly) came to the rescue. The doctor was arrested and never seen in Port Charles again.
Toonder has acted in series such as Will Trent and Lessons In Chemistry. He now appears in three episodes of the Hulu series Paradise as Secret Service Agent Rainey protecting President Cal Bradford, played by Marsden.
A Blast From The Past
Any fan of One Life To Live will remember the con man David Vickers, who was played by Tuc Watkins.

Late-night horror series The Classic Ghosts has rarely been seen since airing on ABC’s Wide World of Mystery in 1973, but that’s about to change.

General Hospital will soon look a lot different following the unexpected exit of Kelly Monaco, who has played Sam McCall for 21 years. The surprise casting decision will likely have monumental ripple effects throughout the fictional town of Port Charles and the daytime TV landscape. With Sam being a key player on the canvas for over two decades, the character's untimely exit will affect most of the remaining characters in some capacity. Unfortunately for Monaco, it appears the decision to exit the sudser was not her own and reportedly "blindsided" the Emmy-nominated actress.
Monaco's character was recently temporarily recast, with Passions alum, Lindsay Hartley stepping into the role. However, while it might make sense for Hartley or another actor to take over as Sam, this will not be the case. According to Soap Opera Network, Sam will be killed off, and Monaco's final scenes are slated to air sometime this fall.

Vivian was on the run, Jennifer forgave Jack. Julie got her heart after Stefan’s tragic death, and Gabi was once again out for revenge in Salem.
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Soaps4Ever and UhSir from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate Robin Strasser’s turn as Vivian, Jennifer forgiving Jack, and Nicole keeping yet another secret on Days of Our Lives.
Vivian is gone. How would you rate Robin Strasser’s run as this iconic character?
Soaps4Ever: I prefer Louise Sorel as Vivian but I think Robin Strasser did what she could with the character. In my opinion, she wasn't given enough time to really dig her heels into the role.
I also didn't see the point in changing her hairstyle every other episode. The other Vivian did not do that and it was kind of strange.

Nicole and Holly made their way back to Salem, Sarah had difficult news to break to Eric, and Brady couldn’t seem to stay away from Kristen.
Our TV Fanatics, Jack Ori ad Christine Orlando are joined by Kpatch and Soaps4ever from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate Nicole’s return, if Sarah should tell Eric about the pregnancy, Eve and Vivian possibly teaming up and which character they had enough of this week in Salem.
Are you happy to have Nicole back? Why or why not?
Kpatch: Meh. I’ve never been a big Nicole fan and I don’t like her with Eric. They’re a boring, selfish couple. So, no, I’m not happy she’s back.

Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Ronnie from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate the Vivian recast, Sarah’s pregnancy, Victor trying to kill Ben, and if Gabi actually meant to leave Julie to die.
Rate Vivian’s return and recast from 1(Oh no, not again?) to 10 (This is going to be awesome!)
Jack: I’m giving it a 7 so far. I Love Vivian. She's one of my favorite villainesses. And I think Robin Strasser is doing a terrific job but has some huge shoes to fill.
It's going to take time to get used to her. However, the writing is over the top and that's saying a lot considering what character we're talking about.

Although Days of Our Lives overuses the back from the dead trope, it's always good to see Vivian Alamain.
Vivian is equal parts classy and conscienceless, making her the perfect soap diva. Louise Sorel made this character her own, so recasting her when Sorel wasn't available was a risky move.
It's going to take time for viewers to get Louise Sorel's version of Vivian out of their heads, but Days of Our Lives gave Robin Strasser plenty of screen time during the week of 9-2-19, and she is doing an excellent job of filling Sorel's shoes.
Vivian's re-introduction scenes were fun. She was the same witty, self-centered character she'd always been, and her connection to Jack because of the warehouse brought up some interesting questions.
Hopefully, Days of Our Lives will delve into what the warehouse was like for everyone Rolf resurrected.
