Most Marvel fans are at their wit’s end because they are absolutely clueless about Kang following the dismissal of Jonathan Majors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor was found guilty of assault and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Sadly, the actor’s exit from the superhero franchise had brought Avengers 5 to a standstill.

Jonathan Majors was supposed to be the next big bad villain for the two upcoming Avengers films, that is Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
While the film came to a dead stop for quite some time, it looks like Marvel Studios went back to the planning board and decided to pull the plug on Majors’ Kang the Conqueror for the time being. Since MCU is reportedly looking to focus on other villains than the one they had initially planned.

In a new preview of I Am... Iron Man, Tony Stark debuts the new persona of the Iron Shogun - a version of the Armored Avenger who wields twin plasma katanas and wears samurai-inspired armor. Fans have been excited for this new identity, which is being added to Tony's existing continuity from the '90s.
In I Am... Iron Man #3 by Murewa Ayodele and Adedotun Akande, fans meet a version of Tony who's seemingly immersed in Japanese folklore. Stalked by a gang of demonic Oni, the Iron Shogun unleashes new plasma katanas, cutting his enemies to ribbons. Iron Man tends to work with the highest level tech, so seeing him get up close and personal with twin blades is a treat for fans, especially because the plasma katanas seem to be some of his most brutally efficient weapons ever.

A surprising cameo from Marvel's Tony Stark revealed that he actually exists in DC Comics canon but just never became Iron Man. There have been some interesting crossovers between Marvel and DC heroes over the years that gave fans a chance to see how they would interact. Some of the most notable moments in these stories included an iconic scene where the Joker turns on Red Skull after finding out he's a Nazi and a fight between Captain America and Batman that settled who would win once and for all. However, one surprising moment in a non-crossover comic showed that none other than Tony Stark exists within the DC Universe...just not as the hero fans know him to be.

Back in October, Marvel unveiled official details for the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Two Collection, a 13-disc Blu-ray box set that includes all six of the studio's Phase 2 movies. This set, which will be available for purchase on December 8, includes Marvel memorabilia such as a gold-foiled page from the book of Dark Elves, an ancient drawing from the Morag vault, Avengers and S.T.R.I.K.E. uniform patches, a replica of the Tony Stark Tattoo from Iron Man 3, and much more. Comic Book Resources got their hands on this box set early, and revealed that one of the unannounced goodies contained in this set is a page from the Sokovia Accords, which will come into play in the studio's first Phase Three movie, Captain America: Civil War. Take a look at the text from this document below.

Did you see it? Did ya did ya did ya? The latest trailer to the future billion-dollar-blockbuster-to-be Avengers 2: Age of Ultron didn’t dance around the revisionist history of the cinematic 616. Ultron, once the product of Dr. Hank Pym – of Ant Man fame, don’t you know – has been shifted to the fatherly arms of one Tony Stark.
Now, the movie isn’t out yet, and I’ve abstained for seeking any real spoilers (that the trailer didn’t spoil itself). For all I know, Tony “invented” it the same way Microsoft invented the Zune. But, let’s just assume that in the world of Joss Whedon’s Marvelverse, Tony Stark did as he said: he attempted to create a solution to the ails of the world… and in doing so, created a would-be destructor instead. Simply put, this is a brilliant move by the boardroom of Mickey Mouse.

Welcome to The Marvelous Da7e Issue #29!
What a week of casting and whatnot, eh boyos? Is using that being sexist? I meant it as a Clockwork Orange reference.
It’s a pot-purri week of superhero movie news, which means geeky analysis, which is a departure from the general speculation about what fandom means. Different column from last week, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still diversifying.
On that note, you know what is diverse? The butt-load of news we’ve been getting from the superhero movie news sphere.
Ant-men – Rudd and Douglas
Michael Douglas as Hank Pym illuminates some more possibilities in Edgar Wright’s re-worked-for-Phase-3 Ant-Man script. The core fandom has been jiving with the idea that Paul Rudd was going to be the Scott Lang version of Ant-Man, a guy who steals the Ant-Man technology instead of Hank Pym, the guy that invented the Ant-Man technology.

Either Marvel Studios is having one heck of a time keeping its new talent in line or its PR department is seriously lagging, because yet another "no duh" announcement has been made about its latest comic book movie, The First Avenger: Captain America. First, Marvel announced that Tommy Lee Jones would be joining the cast as Colonel Phillips, even though actress Hayley Atwell, who will play Peggy Carter in the movie, revealed the addition of Jones back in May. Now, Marvel has distributed a press release declaring that Dominic Cooper has joined the cast as Anthony Stark, father of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, even though Cooper himself revealed this news in May, as well.
