She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Loch Gallagher, and their daughters, Grace and Lila.
Graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting.
Rutherfurd was raised in New York and attended Sacred Heart on the Upper East Side. She also attended St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts.
Attended Camp Laurel in Readfield, Maine in the late eighties and early
nineties.
