As 2018 draws to a close, we examine the year's last bits of Sailor Moon news!

With only a few weeks left in 2018, we’ve stumbled upon some eleventh hour riches on the Sailor Moon news front. Before we ring in 2019, let’s take a look at what we have to look forward to.

First on the docket is the release of Sailor Moon SuperS Vol. 2, which dropped on November 13th. In the second half of this somewhat polarizing season of the classic series, we continue to follow the Sailor Guardians’ fight against the eerie and bizarre Dead Moon Circus, who are searching people’s dreams for the elusive Pegasus (Chris Niosi). Despite having formed a close bond with Sailor Chibi Moon (Sandy Fox), Pegasus is still holding back some secrets. As the plot thickens, new villains appear, including the distubingly sexualized despite their age Amazoness Quartet...

Season 1: Kelly Monaco & Alec Mazo

There's nothing sweeter than holding the title of ABC's first-ever DWTS champion! Since winning the mirrorball, Monaco continued to portray the role of Samantha McCall on the network's daytime drama, General Hospital. Monaco made her most recent return to the show during season 25, pairing up with her close pal, Cheryl Burke, and former NFL star Terrell Owens for Trio Night.

The 98 Degrees singer had so much fun learning how to dance on the show, that he joined the pros and troupe dancers on their DWTS tour after winning the title. At the time, he had no idea that his brother, Nick Lachey, would later compete on season 25 of the show with Peta Murgatroyd. Unfortunately for Nick, he didn't have as much luck -- he and Peta were the fifth couple to be eliminated from the competition.

Sega has pulled out all the stops for the new entries in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Not only are there two new games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3Ds, Sonic fans have been treated to a new animated cartoon on Cartoon Network and a new title from Archie Comics, for a total of four if you count the magazine-sized Sonic Super Special. Not bad for a game series that over two decades long.

Sega’s annual fan celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog will kick off Super Week, New York Comic Con’s seven day celebration leading up to the convention. Sonic Boom will take place on Saturday, October 4th at the Manhattan Center Ballroom in New York City.

Events include appearances by the voice cast of the new Sonic Boom TV series, premiering this fall on Cartoon Network. Roger Craig Smith (Sonic), Colleen Villard (Tails), Travis Willingham (Knuckles), Cindy Robinson (Amy), Nika Futterman (Sticks), and Mike Pollock (Dr. Eggman) will all be on stage for a special live TV show script reading, as well being available for meet & greets and autographs.

Other guests including Tracy Yardley!, long-time artist for the comic series, Sonic musicians Jun Senoue, Tomoya Ohtani, Ted Poley, and Tony Harnell, and Japanese game producer and lead Sonic designer, Takashi Iizuka.

A Russian animated adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, Snow Queen proves both visually cruddy and narratively muddled. Troy Baker will be playing Booker while Courtnee Draper takes on the role of Elizabeth as Irrational lays out the "Mass Effect," "Kingdom Hearts II," and "Sealab 2021" vets among the cast portraying the heroes and villains of "Bioshock Infinite."

The coolest thing about this cast list is that it's populated by veteran voice actors and not simply sprinkled liberally with television and film actors putting in a couple of hours in the booth. "Dishonored" had a great cast of performers turning in one of the more uninspired collection of voice overs in recent memory.

Sneak Peek new key art supporting the upcoming animated TV series "Ultimate Spider-Man", developed for television by Steven T. Seagle, Joe Kelly, Joe Casey, and Duncan Rouleau.

Based on Marvel Comics "Ultimate Spider-Man" storyline, the series will be aired over Disney Xd beginning Fall 2011, chronicling the adventures of teenage 'Peter Parker' and his attempts at dealing with his new abilities and new supervillains arriving in the city.
