The “MADtv” revival is coming to The CW this month and will include a slew of original cast members. TVLine reports that Nicole Sullivan, who formed part of the series from 1995 to 2001 and Will Sasso, cast member from 1997 to 2002, will guest star on the series premiere July 26.

The site also confirms that Bobby Lee, who had a role on the variety series from 2001 to 2009, will appear in an upcoming episode. The new “MADtv” will feature appearances from two original cast members every episode, who will join the new cast: Carlie Craig, Chelsea Davison, Jeremy D. Howard, Amir K, Lyric Lewis, Piotr Michael, Michelle Ortiz and Adam Ray.

Back in January, The CW aired a “MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion.” The one-hour retrospective featured classic clips from the show’s 14 seasons, interwoven with new comedy material that included 19 series alumni.

When it comes to summer TV fare, The CW isn’t just getting even, it’s getting Mad. The network today announced the cast for its reboot of MADtv. The sketch comedy program will feature eight up-and-comers, four men and four women, to star in the show’s skits. The cast includes Carlie Craig, Chelsea Davison, Jeremy D. Howard, Amir K, Lyric Lewis, Piotr Michael, Michelle Ortiz and Adam Ray. The network also said that some of its past stars will make guest appearances in the upcoming season. As far as who that might be, that remains a mystery. MADtv aired on Fox from 1995-2009. The Emmy-winning series propelled the careers of Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Artie Lange among others. The network has ordered eight episodes of MADtv. It makes its debut July 26 at 9 Et/Pt.

The CW is bracing itself for a summer of Madness.

The network on Wednesday announced that new episodes of MADtv — oh, did you not know they’re bringing it back? — will premiere Tuesday, July 26 at 9/8c.

Additionally, The CW unveiled the members of MADtv‘s new ensemble: Carlie Craig (Todrick), Chelsea Davison (@Midnight writer), Jeremy D. Howard, Amir K (Argo), Lyric Lewis (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Piotr Michael (Disney Channel’s Wander Over Yonder), Michelle Ortiz (Life in Pieces) and Adam Ray.

Madison Davenport has joined the cast of Noah. The teen will play the role of Na’el in the Darren Aronofsky-directed film. Noah also stars Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson. In the Bible, Na’eltama’uk is the wife of Ham, one of Noah’s sons. Lerman is playing Ham in the Aronofsky film, due out from Paramount in 2014. Davenport, who played a child bride for nine episodes on Showtime’s Shameless last season, will also be seen later this month in the horror film The Possession with Kyra Sedgwick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Additionally, the actress will be on the new NBC series Save Me with Anne Heche. Save Me is scheduled to air in early 2013. The seemingly endless wait for the Syfy summer schedule is finally over! There is good news and bad, and one thing that is both good and bad. Let’s start with that: the Eureka Season Finale. We love Eureka, so every episode is good news; the fact that it’s a series finale, not so much. Mark your calendars – and have plenty of Kleenex in stock – for July 16 at 9/8c. Right after Comic-Con, which is early this year. We’ll see if that means a panel or not.

The good news: Warehouse 13 and Alphas return on July 23. The hmmm news is that Lost Girl will move to Fridays at 10 on July 20. Hey That’S Haven’S Spot. So Where The Heck Is Haven? Admittedly we had a head’s up that Haven would be pushed to fall when we learned that the DVDs for Season 2 weren’t being released until September but Argh.
