Breaking Infinity is the kind of film I both love and dread seeing on my review schedule. I love it because indie science fiction is frequently full of interesting ideas and concepts that bigger-budget films don’t deal with. I hate it because, often due to their indie budgets, they can’t do those ideas justice. This film had created a bit of a buzz on its festival run, but could it live up to the hype?
Liam lies in a hospital bed as an old man shouts at him to wake up. He does, briefly appearing in a burning building before finding himself back in the hospital where he passes out only to wake up as a different, less injured, version of himself in a different version of the hospital.

"There's no future here. Just one, long spiral into forever..." Elli Films, Unfolding Entertainment and Mind Engagement Productions have debuted the first official trailer for a British indie sci-fi film titled Breaking Infinity. It recently premiered at the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival, where it won Best Director, and will open in UK theaters this June in the summer. Sounds like it could be good. Liam is a scientific researcher who has been "unstuck in time", who must visit the ancient past and distant future. As his jumps through time get more extreme, he is guided to the future by a mysterious old man where he witnesses the end of the world that he may have caused. The sci-fi thriller stars Neil Bishop, Zoe Cunningham, Martin Bishop, Zed Josef, and Jonny Phillips. "We're thrilled that audiences will get the opportunity to see Breaking Infinity on the big screen where it belongs!

The thing I noticed most about The Heiress while watching it, is that it is very, very, British for a variety of reasons that I will go into later… The story followss two sisters who live together, Clare and Anna. Clare has seizures and soon starts to see ghosts or at least what she thinks are ghosts, while her sister just thinks she is going crazy. This being a horror movie, the ghosts are real.
So why is it a very British movie? It’s kinda hard to say if you’re not from Great Britain or have never visited here but the locations, the fashion, the dialogue and the characters and the actors they play are all just so…...
