A primetime drama, Everwood, ran from 2002 to 2006 on The WB network. As the story begins, widower Dr. Andrew Brown (Treat Williams) moves to Everwood, Colorado from Manhattan with his 9-year old daughter, Delia (Vivien Cardone), and 15-year old son, Ephram (Gregory Smith). Many of the early story lines center around the small family's adjustment to their new town, and dealing with the loss of wife and mother, Julia.
In season three, Everwood is primed for drama as Ephram returns from Julliard, read to commit himself to his music, and to Amy Abbott (Emily VanCamp). Andy finds himself with ethical challenges and a new doctor (Scott Wolf) arrives nursing a healthy interest in pancakes -- as served by Nina (Stephanie Niznik). All is not bliss in Everwood though, as a secret from the previous season threatens to destroy trusts and bonds of love.

Niznik gets 'Wild'; 'Life' for Sexton

Everwood alumna Stephanie Niznik has been tapped to star on the CW's upcoming drama series Life Is Wild.
Meanwhile, Brent Sexton has been added to the cast of NBC's upcoming drama Life as a regular.
Wild, from CBS Paramount Network TV, Company Pictures and WBTV, centers on a New York veterinarian (D.W. Moffett) and his second wife (Niznik) -- a beautiful and rich corporate lawyer -- who move to a South African game preserve with their two sets of children.
The roles of both parents were recast. Niznik replaces Judith Hoag, who played the role in the pilot; Moffett recently took over from Brett Cullen (HR 6/27).
Niznik is best known for her role as Nina Feeney, the neighbor and confidante of Andy Brown (Treat Williams) on Everwood. She most recently appeared in the two-hour Grey's Anatomy episode that introduced the spinoff series Private Practice.
Niznik is repped by August Kammer at TalentWorks and manager Anne Woodward at Station 3.
Life, from Universal Media Studios, centers on an ex-cop (Damian Lewis) who rejoins the force after being wrongfully imprisoned for years.
