With two decades of wild, emotionally-charged television to pull from, Grey’s Anatomy has given fans plenty of unbelievable moments.
After 20 years, Katherine Heigl recently admitted she can’t watch the ABC medical procedural with her kids, crediting her ghostly sex scene with co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the Season 5 episode ‘In the Midnight Hour’ (2005) as one that makes her “so embarrassed.”
“We have not watched Grey’s. Partly because I was like, ‘How do I explain that?'” she told Entertainment Weekly of the scene. “But I’m like, “‘ou can watch it, but I don’t want to sit next to you. I will be so embarrassed.’ I don’t know how to explain this. And she will make me embarrassed. She will make fun of me. No, it’s better not to give her that ammunition. Do you know what I’m saying?”

Katherine Heigl and Jeffrey Dean Morgan reunited for the first time in years as part of Entertainment Weekly’s 20th anniversary of Shondaland and got brutally honest about one of “Grey’s Anatomy’s” worst storylines: Ghost sex. The romance between Heigl’s Izzie and Morgan’s Denny in Season 2 bolstered the show’s popularity and powered Heigl to an Emmy win. Denny died in the season finale, but his Season 5 return as a ghost Izzie sees and has sex with confused the actors as much as it did the viewers.
“It’s funny because I don’t remember much of that season because it just… I don’t know that anybody thought that was working when we were doing it,” Morgan admitted to EW, with Heigl calling the storyline “awkward.”
“It was confusing for everyone,” Heigl said. “There’s one particular scene that I will not watch with my children ever.

Grey's Anatomy celebrates its 20th anniversary on March 27, and a ton of faces have come through Seattle Grace's doors the past two decades, but only one series regular has taken home an Emmy: Katherine Heigl.
The erstwhile Dr. Izzie Stevens won Best Drama Supporting Actress in 2007 in a shocking upset. No one expected her to prevail — "Sh-t," Heigl said after her name was announced — not even her mother. "My own mother told me I didn't have a shot in hell of winning tonight, so I really don't have anything prepared. This is my dream come true," she said onstage.
Heigl beat fellow Grey's docs Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, The Sopranos' Lorraine Bracco and Aida Turturro, and Brothers and Sisters' Rachel Griffiths. Pundits favored Oh or Wilson for the win, especially the former, who was on her third of five straight nominations for the ABC medical drama, and had won...

The Walking Dead is one of the seminal classics of modern television, the first smash hit from the creator who would go on to make Invincible, Robert Kirkman. The show was one of the more modern takes on the zombie genre, which thrust back into the cultural zeitgeist with its brilliant storytelling.
However, given that zombie apocalypses have been part of popular culture for so long, there have been more than a few discourses about the genre and how it functions.

Recently there have been some things that have been pointed out, such as how the genre often has an overreliance on fuel and technology, which requires complex upkeep, when a lot of historical and obsolete elements in the world could serve as a better defense.

The Walking Dead franchise kicked off in 2010 with the original series, which concluded in 2022 after 11 seasons. Since then, the franchise has continued through several spin-off series.
The series is based on the comic book of the same name, and it follows humanity in the aftermath of a zombie breakout, following the human behaviors and struggles to survive. Following the end of the original series, three spin-off series continued the story of the original characters, including The Walking Dead: Dead City, which followed Negan and Maggie. Ahead of Season 2, The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 1 has become a hit on Netflix following its first week, per Tudum.

The Walking Dead was a unique show that balances the drama with the survival thriller setting of a zombie apocalypse. While still at the height of the zombie-obsession in Hollywood, the show offered a more poignant exploration of how humans function in a fallen society and how they seek to rebuild a sense of meaning through various ways.
A post-apocalyptic setting would have a lot of artifacts that were remnants of the past, and music composer Bear McCreary reportedly hoped to invoke the same emptiness and a foreboding sense of doom with the theme song. His creative direction was also guided by his previous work on the series Human Target.

While AMC’s The Walking Dead is set during a zombie apocalypse, the episodes are not always action-based and have long scenes of talking and drama.

Nothing stays dead forever, it seems. At least that's the way things work in the world of The Walking Dead. The legendary AMC franchise has been showcasing what "dead" truly means for the past 15 years, as Rick Grimes and his not-so-merry band of survivors have attempted to fight for the living against a horde of undead zombies, heartless tyrants, and even some of their own.
The franchise itself even proved its unwillingness to die when the original series and its original spinoff both concluded, only for a new trinity of spinoffs to take the Twd Universe into its next era, showcasing what life is like for some of the longest-standing characters after the credits rolled on Twd's series finale. One of those spinoffs brought back the once-thought-to-be-dead Rick Grimes to wrap up his and Michonne's arc, showing us all that sometimes the best kinds of stories can't die.

The fifth and final season of The Boys is currently in production and the cast and crew are teasing fans consistently with behind-the-scenes images and other tidbits. After a bombshell finale of the fourth season, fans are rooting for the show to go out with a bloody bang, betting on Homelander and Butcher’s final showdown. While details are scarce, Homelander actor Antony Starr, recently shared pictures from the set teasing fans further.
The first image sees Starr in costume and glasses, making a victory sign. Another image sees him in the “civilian Homie” getup from Season 4, while the last image sees Starr with young actor Cameron Crovetti, who plays Ryan, Homelander’s son.

As shooting for the fifth and final season of Prime Video's The Boys continues, Antony Starr has shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set to Instagram along with two throwback snaps from the previous season and some unused concept art.
Starr is suited-up as Homelander in the set photo, and it doesn't look like there's been any major alterations to his costume. There was speculation that the leader of The Seven might don a new outfit for this final season after he took a step closer to the White House in the season 4 finale.
The actor also revealed some artwork for Ryan's (Cameron Crovetii) "Homeboy" costume, which never actually made the cut. Ryan appeared to fully give himself over to the "dark side" after killing Grace Mallory (Laila Robins) in the finale, so perhaps we'll see him suit-up alongside his father at some point in season 5.

The following contains spoilers for Invincible Season 3, Episode 8, "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up," now streaming on Prime Video.
One of the most impressive traits of Invincible Season 3 is how it handles a packed cast. Season 1 was a bit wobbly on this front, while Season 2 made improvements. Season 3 balances it out even better.
Throughout Invincible's third season, there are many heroes, villains, friends, family members and work colleagues in the orbit of Steven Yeun's Mark Grayson. But everyone gets a fair shake through arcs that do feel complete by the time the season ends. Here is where everyone stands for Season 4.

There is no doubt that Invincible is a sure short hit with the fans. The animated series has raked in unreal numbers over the years. With the last two seasons claiming a perfect of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, nothing needs to be said about how good it is.

There’s no doubt that people will look back at season 3 of Invincible with nothing but admiration. The beginning of the dark times of Mark Grayson was told in a way that stayed true to the source material while also making sure the story worked for TV. It’s all you could want from a comic book adaptation. However, none of the show's greatness could have happened without the heroes and villains involved.
All of the characters were incredible from start to finish and this article will rank the top ten. It was difficult dropping it down to just ten, but hopefully, the justification will make sense. Let's start with an honorable mention.
Honorable mention: Mohawk Mark
Voiced by: Steven Yeun
Mohawk Mark Grayson was the best of the Invincible variants. He was witty, strong, and completely unhinged. He wasn’t the strongest of the group, but, somehow, he seemed to do the most damage.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan joined The Walking Dead series as Negan, the infamous villain of Robert Kirkman’s comic book series. Dean Morgan’s first appearance was filled with violence, taking his signature baseball bat to bash the heads of two beloved characters from the main cast. It seems like Dean Morgan is not one to hold back off-screen, either.
The actor came to his co-stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride’s defense when fans began to call out the actors regarding the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. McBride reportedly exited the spinoff before filming as she did not want to move to Europe, which annoyed many fans. However, Dean Morgan called out the fans for their toxicity.

Invincible has established itself as a superhero franchise that is in a league of its own. In a world where more ‘family-friendly’ franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe or Dcu dominate the discourse, Robert Kirkman-created adult animated superhero series and comic books have provided fans with an alternative that is more rooted in reality and relatable.

There are several scenes in Supernatural throughout its fifteen-season run that make for a pretty whacky watch. There is one scene from Season 5 of the show that is something right out of an SNL sketch, but it just freaking works.
Part of it is because it was originally meant for Sam, but Jared Padalecki, being as strict as he is with character continuity, focused on having Dean do it, which worked out great in the end.
Sam and Dean Winchester || Credit: The CW
The episode in question sees Dean and Sam check themselves into a mental hospital, in hopes of catching a demon that has been making the patients his victim. His leads to some hilarious scenes when Dean and Sam need to improvise to not get caught, one of which is the crowning hilarious moment of the season.

If you were to tell The Walking Dead fans a few years back that both Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) would have their own spinoff together, everyone would've laughed. If you were then to say that in the second season, Maggie would wield the barbed-wire baseball bat that killed her husband, it'd just seem out-of-the-question ridiculous. But here we are.
In case you haven't worked it out yet, we're talking about The Walking Dead: Dead City. In our review of season 1, we called it the franchise's best spinoff yet. While that accolade has been steamrolled by subsequent spinoffs The Ones Who Live and Daryl Dixon, we're still very excited for season 2.
In Dead City season 1, Maggie surprisingly recruited sworn enemy-turned-ally Negan to assist her in reclaiming her son Hershel, who was kidnapped and taken to the heart of a community in Manhattan. The two worked together until the very last moment,...

Making a name for himself by bashing people's faces with a bat wrapped in barbed wire on the screen, Jeffrey Dean Morgan steps back onto this bloody path. But in this horror comedy, he spends more time behind the camera. Between working on The Walking Dead franchise as the antagonist-turned-anti-hero Negan, Morgan brought his violent flair to a Dark Sky Films production, Bloody Axe Wound. Though he makes a brief cameo at the film's start, he is more credited as a producer, working with director and writer Matthew John Lawrence to bring this slasher to life. Blending homages to the genre together with a twisted coming-of-age arc, Bloody Axe Wound plays out on its own unique beat that reaches for schlocky brilliance but doesn't quite muster it.

The creator of Invincible just confirmed that a crucial character is coming in Season 4. The Invincible Season 3 finale hit Prime Video last week to widespread acclaim, and it has landed as one of the highest-rated episodes of TV ever. The last installment introduced Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the powerful Viltrumite, Conquest, who seemingly kills Eve (Gillian Jacobs) and beats Mark (Steven Yeun) within an inch of his life without breaking a sweat. However, while Conquest positioned himself as the most powerful Viltrumite in the universe, there is another who is widely considered to be much stronger. During a recent interview with Variety, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman confirmed that Grand Regent Thragg is coming in Season 4, and while he declined to say who, he revealed the character has already been cast:...

Editor's Note: The following contains spoilers for Invincible Season 3.Few projects have had as much of an impact on the superhero genre as Invincible. Created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, this comic series was animated a few years ago and quickly became one of Amazon Prime's most popular projects ever. From its inspirational hero Mark (Steven Yeun) to the blood-soaked conflicts that surround him, viewers have been astounded with the nuanced way it portrays what a world with superhumans could actually look like. Yet while it focuses on our teenage protagonist, one character has risen to become many watchers' favorite: the matter manipulator herself, Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs). A young woman who can change the world at a molecular level, she has proven herself to be one of the series' most complex characters...though you wouldn't know that from reading the comics. Because, while the written version of this...

It brought Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) face to face with the merciless Viltrumite Conquest (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and delivered what might be the series' bloodiest battle to date. Said battle was ripped right from Invincible #61-64, including the brutal ending where Mark headbutts Conquest to death. But prior to that, there's a moment where Conquest makes a surprising confession to Mark about how lonely he is. This speech stands out because it was never in the comics, but it manages to be one of the best parts of the finale — especially with the way Morgan delivers it.

Spoilers ahead for "Invincible."
"Invincible" season 3 has come and gone with just as much critical praise and fanfare as the show's two prior seasons. According to one specific rubric, it even hit a new high for the show. At the time of this writing, the "Invincible" season 3 finale, "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up," holds a near-perfect 9.9/10 audience score on IMDb. That's just a small notch above the penultimate episode of season 3, which holds a 9.8. Both episodes have eclipsed the IMDb score for the season 1 finale, "Where I Really Come From," which remains one of the most iconic episodes of television from the past decade.
Hitting a new stride (at least in the eyes of some fans) in its third season is a huge accomplishment for "Invincible," and it bodes well for the show's future. Prime Video has one of the best reputations for renewing streaming shows long-term, in part...

Next up, on March 18, there’s ‘The Outrun.’ It’s a drama with Saoirse Ronan playing a woman fresh out of rehab, heading back to Scotland’s Orkney Islands. She’s trying to rebuild her life, and it’s based on Amy Liptrot’s book.

Supernatural star Jensen Ackles played Soldier Boy in season 3 of The Boys, and the actor who played his father in that series, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, took on the role of Joe Kessler in season 4.
The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke worked with both actors when he was calling the shots on Supernatural (he created the series and stepped down from his showrunner role after season 5). However, Morgan's casting left Jared Padalecki as the only one of the show's original leads who hadn't appeared in The Boys.
It's since been confirmed that the show's final season will feature a full-blown Supernatural reunion with Ackles, Padalecki, and Misha Collins all set to appear.
Talking to Business Insider, Padalecki said, "I don’t know a whole lot about it, which is [f***ing] terrifying," he said before confirming he will share the screen with Ackles. "I don’t know what we’re doing. I don’t know if we like,...

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Invincible season 3, episode 8, "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up."
Invincible creator Robert Kirkman breaks down how the battle between Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) and Conquest (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the season 3 finale is a rematch from The Walking Dead. Yeun played Glenn and Morgan played Negan in the AMC series, which sees Negan brutally killing Glenn. Meanwhile, the Invincible season 3 ending has Mark and Conquest in a harrowing and even bloodier fight that ultimately ends with Mark defeating the formidable Viltrumite.
While speaking with Variety, Kirkman clarifies that while Mark defeating Conquest is "a nice bit of justice" for Glenn, The Walking Dead rematch is not the main reason Morgan was cast to voice Conquest. Kirkman knew that Morgan was the perfect actor to play Conquest, especially after seeing him make his debut in The Boys. Instead of being distracting or even ruining the fight between Mark and Conquest,...
