According to Variety, A24 is bringing Ari Aster's hotly-anticipated Beau Is Afraid follow-up, Eddington, to the European Film Market in Berlin later this month. Confirming an April premiere on Max, the latest teaser for Season 2 debuted Monday at the CES tech conference in Las Vegas, giving another glimpse at some of the video game characters joining the show, including Abby (played by Kaitlyn Dever), Dina (Isabela Merced) and Isaac Dixon (Jeffrey Wright).

“It doesn’t matter if you have a code like me,” says Abby in a voiceover. “There are just some things everyone agrees are just wrong.”

According to the latest reports, it’s true that Baker will be working with the studio again, but not in the way many fans were hoping.

However, instead of playing Joel Miller in The Last of Us 3, Baker’s next role seems to be attached to a whole new project directed by Neil Druckmann. While fans might have been hoping for the return of their favorite survivor, this news could be a bit of a gut punch for those who still hope to see Joel in another chapter in The Last of Us saga.

Pedro Pascal has been part of Hollywood for decades, working his way up through different roles in theater and TV. One of his early appearances was on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1999, but it wasn’t until his roles in Game of Thrones, that he became a well-known name, quickly followed by The Mandalorian, and The Last of Us.

Now, Pascal is one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood, with big projects lined up, like Gladiator 2, Marvel’s Fantastic Four, and a new season of The Last of Us. Per IGN, HBO's Casey Bloys confirmed at a 2025 programming slate presentation that The Last of Us season 2 will premiere in spring 2025, though an exact month and date weren't announced. By comparison, it was also announced that season 2 of James Gunn's DC series Peacemaker will drop in August, making it the third Dcu project released after Creature Commandos and Gunn's Superman movie starring David Corenswet.

The second season of the highly-anticipated video game adaptation is getting nearer.

The Last of Us and Peacemaker were among several returning shows teased in a recent 'Coming to Max in 2025' promo, with additional footage previewing Dune: Prophecy, The White Lotus, Hacks, and The Gilded Age and new shows like It: Welcome to Derry.

HBO’s hit horror series “The Last of Us“ returns for Season 2 next year, and Max has revealed new details that give us a better idea on when to expect the new season.

HBO and Max Content CEO and Chairman Casey Bloys announced during a 2025 programming slate presentation to journalists, via IGN, that “The Last of Us” season 2 will arrive in Spring 2025.

The announcement coincides with a video running down Max’s lineup in 2025, giving small glimpses of the upcoming season. It doesn’t reveal much, but it does highlight a rift between Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) over his choice to save her life at the end of season one. It also gives a first look at Catherine O’Hara, guest starring in “The Last of Us” Season 2 alongside Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, the very same character he voiced in The Last of Us Part II video game.

The return of Pedro Pascal in the titular role of Din Djarin in The Mandalorian and Grogu has been confirmed, easing viewers' long-running worries about the beloved actor. Pascal, who has been portraying Din Djarin ever since Star Wars' The Mandalorian first began, has become a notoriously busy actor following his skyrocket to fame in the aftermath of The Mandalorian and HBO's The Last of Us, in which he plays Joel Miller. Given his current busy schedule filming The Fantastic Four: First Steps in the role of Reed Richards, some feared he wouldn't return to his Star Wars role.

This, however, will not be the case, as Lucasfilm has confirmed at D23 Brasil that Pedro Pascal will indeed return to play Din Djarin once again in The Mandalorian and Grogu. This was announced alongside the official casting of Sigourney Weaver, who is portraying a currently unknown role in Star Wars' next movie.

The first season of the HBO version of The Last of Us was a tremendous success thanks to the combined efforts of Druckmann for providing on-set knowledge of the lore and showrunner Craig Mazin as they embarked on a new journey to give the story of Part 2 the same treatment through this format.
