Actress, singer Shruti Haasan, who is currently in Athens shooting for her international film, ‘The Eye’, said that she is glad that she can travel, make art and meet lovely people.
While shooting overseas for a lengthy schedule does have its perks, there’s also a downside. Missing one’s home and loved ones.
Shruti can surely attest to this. The actress, who is currently away in Greece, recently posted an Instagram story about all things she misses being away from home.
She posted pictures of her partner Santanu Hazarika, his amazing paintings, her cat and her bed to name a few.
While she posted about all the things she misses, Shruti was quick to mention that she is immensely grateful for the life she leads.

Actress Shruti Haasan has already begun shooting for her international project, ‘The Eye’, directed by Daphne Schmon and written by Emily Carlton.
The film, backed by Fingerprint Content, is being co-produced by Agronauts productions, Greece’s biggest and most established production house.
Shruti has already begun shooting for the film in Athens and Corfu.
After proving her mettle in industries across India, the actress has been making waves internationally with her debut in ‘Treadstone’, her independent music, and is meticulously choosing subjects close to her heart – those which can create an impact across the globe.
Sources said that ‘The Eye’ is a psychological thriller that follows the story of a widow who returns to a greek island to spread her deceased husband’s ashes.
Apart from Shruti, the film boasts of a stellar starcast with names like Mark Rowley(‘The Last Kingdom’, ‘One Day’), Anna Savva (‘True Horror’) and Linda Marlowe (‘The Duchess’) among others.

Production has begun on the psychological thriller The Eye, starring Shruti Haasan (Salaar) and Mark Rowley (The Last Kingdom) from Fingerprint Content.
Daphne Schmon directs the flick from a screenplay by Emily Carlton. Set in 1980, the pic is billed as a dark psychological thriller. The story centers on a young widow who travels back to the island where her husband died, to spread his ashes. Upon learning the true nature of what may have claimed his life, she is tempted by a dark choice that could bring him back.
The cast is rounded out by Sarika Thakur (Baar Baar Dekho), Anna Savva (The Durrells), Linda Marlowe (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), and Christos Stergioglou (Dogtooth).

Back in July, we reported that Chris Evans had come aboard to star in a big screen adaptation of Jekyll, based on the hit 2007 BBC One mini-series of the same name, written by Doctor Who and Sherlock creator Steven Moffat and starring James Nesbitt.
