The winners of the 2025 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards have been announced!
Zoe Saldana, Ralph Fiennes, and Mikey Madison were among the top winners at the awards show that took place on Sunday night (February 2) held at the Mayfair Hotel in London, England.
Along with winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez, Zoe was also honored with the Derek Malcolm Award for Innovation while Daniel Craig was honored with the Dilys Powell Award for excellence in film.
Other stars in attendance at the event included Colman Domingo, Jesse Eisenberg, Lesley Manville, America Ferrera, Anora director Sean Baker, Back to Black actress Marisa Abela and fiancé Jamie Bogyo, The Brutalist actress Raffey Cassidy, and Abigail actress Alisha Weir.

Both films are nominated in seven categories, followed by Edward Berger’s Conclave and The Substance on six nominations each and Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Perez with five.

The Los Angeles Festival of Movies has announced dates for the festival’s second edition, set to take place April 3-6.
The first festival, co-presented by Mubi and the Mezzanine film non-profit, drew a young and enthusiastic crowd to L.A. venues on the eastern side of town for events including the West Coast premiere of “I Saw the TV Glow” and “Good One,” as well as the first episode of HBO’s documentary series “Ren Faire,” and 4K restorations including Chantal Akerman’s “Toute Une Nuit.”
Mezzanine and the festival will also present fall and winter screening events, to be announced.
“Independent cinema is alive and well in Los Angeles,” said Lafm director of programming Micah Gottlieb. “We were overwhelmed by the response to our inaugural festival, and we’re launching this second edition feeling energized and inspired by the local film community.”

Nearly two decades after her passing, the legacy of Spanish singer and actress Rocío Dúrcal, nicknamed the “Queen of Rancheras”, will be brought to the screen in a movie biopic.
Produced by Sony Music Vision, in partnership with Sony Music Mexico, and Dean Altit of Altit Media Group (The Misfits), the biopic is due to chart how Dúrcal began her career in her native Spain before going on to become a hit in Mexico and one of Spain’s most celebrated singers across the Atlantic.

Mexico City (The Associated Press) -- Ten-year-old Angie Vazquez has become an Internet phenom belting out a soulful cover of Brit pop star Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." In an online video seemingly shot at home, her teenage brothers Abelardo and Gustavo play the keyboard, guitar and drums.
The video drew almost 18 million views, interviews on Mexico's major television networks and a mention on Good Morning America. Within weeks of its Nov. 11 posting, the so-called Vazquez Sounds signed a contract with Sony Music Mexico.
