- Innes Lloyd was born on December 24, 1925 in Penmaenmawr, Conwy, Wales, UK. He was a producer and writer, known for Screen One (1985), Screen Two (1984) and Talking Heads (1988). He died on August 23, 1991 in Richmond, Surrey, England, UK.
- As one of the most influential producers of Doctor Who (1963), his era introduced the Cybermen and the Ice Warriors and he cast the Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, as well as companions Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. However, many of the episodes he produced no longer exist on film due to an archive purge at the BBC between 1972 and 1978.
- Innes was one of his two middle names as well as his mother's maiden name.
