- Emily Ann Lloyd began her acting career, at age 2, in a commercial for Olympus cameras. Many commercials followed and, by age 6, she had two feature films under her belt, including Kindergarten Cop (1990), with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Guest star roles on Evening Shade (1990) and the short-lived series, Princesses (1991), followed by a regular role on My Life and Times (1991), kept her busy until the fall of 1990, when she began a four-season run on Knots Landing (1979) as Joan Van Ark and Ted Shackelford's twin, "Betsy Ewing". When the series ended in 1993, Emily Ann continued on with three TV movies, Overkill (1994), A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion (1993) (CBS) and Tainted Blood (1993) (USA).
At age 10, Emily Ann guest starred on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993), then found herself being directed by Ron Howard as Tom Hanks' youngest daughter in Apollo 13 (1995). In spring of 1995, Emily Ann played "Brittany Lace Wedman" in Jodie Foster's Home for the Holidays (1995) and, in the summer, traveled to London to film, Annie: A Royal Adventure! (1995) (ABC).
Early in 1996, Emily Ann was cast as "Sarah", the daughter of Mel Harris and stepdaughter of Jere Burns, in the blended family sitcom, Something So Right (1996) (NBC). This was followed by a guest star part on the CBS drama Early Edition (1996) episode, Faith (1997).
In 1998, Emily was cast in the independent film, Miss Supreme Queen (1999) and then took a hiatus from acting to enjoy her final few years of high school and later attend university.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
