Patrick Le Bon was born on January 2, 1940 in Antwerpen, Flanders, Belgium. He was a director and writer, known for S.O.S. Fonske (1968), Salut en de kost (1974) and Hellegat (1980). He died on February 3, 2021 in Kortrijk, Flanders, Belgium.
His mother was Maria Collin, member of a famous flemish entrepreneur family. In 2011, he wrote the autobiographic novel 'De gulzige jaren' about a young man who rebels against his catholic, middle-class family.
