The Sci-Fi genre consists of some of the most inventive and life-changing films because by the very definition of the word the creators have to invent a fictional future or technology and while some of the films in this genre give us spectacle others give us a story that makes us think about the future and how our world is changing for better or for worse. So, today we thought of listing the best new sci-fi films you can watch at home right now and in this list, we didn’t include any film released before 2023.

In America today, no one has a lock on conspiracy theory. It has become the air we breathe, the Kool-Aid we drink, the rabbit-hole ideology that defines too many of us. Yet conspiracy theories come in different shapes and sizes. Many are false, some are true. Many are bat-house crazy, some are more than plausible. All, in one way or another, work as metaphors: for the forces that collude in hiding things from us, for the sinister tantalizing truth that we aren’t allowed to see.
“They Cloned Tyrone” is a slow-burn inner-city sci-fi nightmare thriller, one that plays off the spirit of conspiracy theory that has often thrived — with justification — within Black culture. The Tuskegee experiment was a conspiracy that happened; its horrific impact on the hearts and minds of African-Americans is beyond measure. And in the 1970s, the belief that the CIA, linked by the war in Vietnam...

One of Rhys Coiro’s earliest memories is standing at a Brooklyn newsstand in the late ’80s, picking out a Marvel comic.
“I remember the smell of the newsprint,” the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law actor tells The Hollywood Reporter. “That Marvel time period of the West Coast Avengers … is the era that I recall the clearest. It’s the golden era [of Marvel] for me.”
So when his wife, Kat Coiro, got the job to direct Marvel sitcom She-Hulk, it felt natural to pack up their lives and head for Atlanta — where Marvel films many of its projects. Since then, the couple and their three kids have settled into life in the Peach State, where they watched every MCU film in chronological order in preparation for Kat’s work.

John D. Tucker, Director Pas Honteux
Directed by John D. Tucker Pas Honteux is the story of a young African American slacker who wakes up one day speaking only French. The film brings to light the fact that we not only judge people by their looks but also by the way they speak.
So, what if a young urban African American wakes up and suddenly speaks only French?
The film begins and takes off from there and must be seen to be believed. It jumps from modern hip-hop inspired visuals to sharp contrast new wave bringing new meaning to both styles of filmmaking.
It turns out that the only person he can now communicate with is an older homeless street dwelling man who can speak French to him and they bond.
The film stars Travis Labranch (Shots Fired), Leon Lamar, and Javicia Leslie, is written by Sundance Alum Marcus J.
