The revival comedy stars Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, Laci Mosley, and Jaidyn Triplett. Picking up nearly 10 years later, it follows original influencer Carly Shay (Cosgrove), her brother Spencer (Trainor), and friend Freddie Benson (Kress) as they navigate work, love, and family relationships in their twenties. New characters include Harper (Mosley), Carly’s roommate and best friend, and Millicent (Triplett), Freddie’s snarky and social media-savvy stepdaughter.

Daniel Booko, who most fans will know from his role on The Valley, was also a prolific young actor who appeared in several early 2000s TV teen sitcoms, including iCarly. One of the first TV shows to really understand the coming impact of the internet, iCarly was a Nickelodeon hit series that premiered in 2007, and a recent reboot iCarly series in 2021 has kept up the show's impressively sound legacy. The series featured many guest stars over its now nine seasons, including Daniel Booko, who had a big role in one particular episode.
Actor and model Daniel Booko got his start in minor, but memorable, performances in popular TV shows and movies, including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Entourage, American Pie Presents: Band Camp, The O.C., and more. Quick Links An iCarly Movie Needs To Happen To Answer What Happens With Carly's Mom A Movie Is The Perfect Medium To Address iCarly Season 3's Cliffhanger How An iCarly Movie Could Work To Give Viewers A Satisfying Ending An iCarly movie could provide closure to unanswered questions, such as Carly's mom's identity. Miranda Cosgrove supports the idea of an iCarly movie to properly end the series. A movie could explore more storylines, like Carly and Freddie's romance, with a necessary time jump between the last episode and the film.
An iCarly movie would answer the burning question that the show's final episode left. Paramount+ canceled iCarly after three seasons, which left the revival on a significant cliffhanger. If there was a movie to carry on the show's legacy, it could wrap up the previous storylines and provide some fresh lore to the franchise that could be finished in a film.

Nora Dershlit is a standout character in iCarly, portrayed exceptionally by Danielle Morrow. The use of the term "psycho" to describe Nora's behavior is outdated and dismissive. Danielle Morrow returned as Nora in the iCarly revival, showing growth and apologizing for past actions.
iCarly features plenty of kooky and goofy side characters, but Nora Dershlit (Danielle Morrow) takes the cake as one of the strangest, both as a character, and how the showrunners decided to depict her. While it's been years since I've actually watched iCarly regularly, I can still remember plenty of the amusing minor and guest characters who would come through the series, often causing a significant amount of trouble for the cast of iCarly or just creating mayhem in general.

The iCarly revival was aimed at adult fans, not Nickelodeon-aged kids, covering mature topics. The revival's abrupt cancellation left fans reeling, especially with major cliffhangers unresolved. Star Miranda Cosgrove indicated a follow-up movie is in the works to address the cliffhangers and give closure.
Nickelodeon's iCarly was one of the biggest kid sitcoms of the late 2000s and early 2010s. Hailing from now-disgraced hitmaker Dan Schneider, the series regularly averaged millions of viewers per week as Nickelodeon's flagship live-action series. With that success, it's no surprise that a series revival was ordered in 2020 for the then-upcoming Paramount+ service.
The revival followed Miranda Cosgrove's Carly, Nathan Kress's Freddie, and Jerry Trainor's Spencer as they dealt with adult life a decade after the original series wrapped. The iCarly revival was unique in that it was not geared toward a young Nickelodeon-aged audience. Instead, it aimed at the fans who...

Miranda Cosgrove wants to wrap up iCarly with a movie finale after the series was canceled with a major cliffhanger. An iCarly movie would be more practical and satisfying for fans than dragging the story out for a fourth season. The cancelation left important plotlines unresolved, such as Freddie and Carly's relationship and Carly's missing mother.
iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove suggests a movie finale to wrap up the canceled series. After initially running on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012, iCarly was revived by Paramount+ in 2021. The sequel series saw most of the main cast return, including Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress. Unfortunately, after season 3 ended on a major cliffhanger, Paramount+ announced the show's cancelation.

Miranda Cosgrove is recalling an interaction she had with a young iCarly fan that didn’t necessarily go as expected.
During an appearance on Wednesday’s episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, host Kelly Ripa noted how the 30-year-old actress and singer had “not changed very much” since her debut acting role in 2003’s School of Rock at age 9.
“I do sometimes [get recognized],” Cosgrove said in response. “It’s funny because there was a moment when a lot of young kids didn’t really know who I was because [iCarly] hadn’t been on for a while. Then, Netflix got the show and they started playing the old seasons.”
The Mother of the Bride actress went on to recall an encounter she had with a young fan during a recent Target shopping trip.
“There’s a little boy just kind of looking at me in the toy aisle. He kept looking up at me.

While Nickelodeon TV shows are known for their heroes, the villains play an equally important part. Without villains to play off of, the beloved protagonists wouldn't have challenges to overcome or opportunities to stand apart. And in many cases, the villains develop their own fan bases because audiences love to hate them.
From villains with memorably outlandish schemes to more sympathetic ones with a tragic backstory, these Nickelodeon characters don't just make them angry. Like the previous month of May, which saw the debut of The Family Stallone, Paramount+ has announced its June TV schedule. There are lots of new shows to look forward to in the next month, ranging from a revived Nickelodeon sitcom to one of the most successful Star Trek series. So, without further ado, here are the best TV series coming to Paramount+ in June 2023.

Since the original series, Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Freddie (Nathan Kress) have been the most popular coupling, and things and heating up between the two of them in the revival series. In 5...4...3...2... a new season of iCarly is on the way. The third season of Paramount+'s revival of the Nickelodeon hit is set to be released on June 1.
iCarly was a massive hit during its original run on Nickelodeon, receiving millions of viewers every week and a slew of award nominations and acclaim. So it's no surprise that the revival - geared at the now adult fanbase who grew up with the original - has earned similar rave reviews. However, despite receiving a third-season renewal in July 2022, buzz around the upcoming batch of episodes remained relatively quiet until this week. Finally, on Thursday, Paramount+ released a new official trailer telling fans exactly what to expect from the new outing.
Those fans who loved Freddie and Carly's will-they or won't-they in the original will likely be very excited, as the "Creddie" relationship is teased as the focal point of the new season.

At the turn of the 20th century, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon were the top two cable networks marketing toward toddlers, preteens, and teens. Both channels had a variety of shows dedicated to entertaining their audience with musical performances and comedy skits. The biggest shows on the networks combined angst and real-world drama with amusing lines from lovable characters. Due to their similar target audience as well as their hand in producing some of the most iconic series on television, competition between the two networks and their fans would surely ensue.
In the '90s, Nickelodeon premiered live-action sitcoms such as All That, Kenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show alongside legendary cartoons such as SpongeBob Squarepants. While Disney aired sitcoms, they also began a successful run of Disney Channel Original Movies (or DCOMs). Both channels own universally recognizable trademarks and have evolved to encompass television series, merchandise, films, and music.
