Son-in-law of Monty Hall and Marilyn Hall, and brother-in-law of Joanna Gleason and Chris Sarandon.

At WCBS-TV in New York, he worked as a field producer/writer on a local TV magazine show called "7:30 Magazine", with a brash, young host named Bill O'Reilly.

Is often confused with Todd A. Kessler, writer/producer of The Sopranos (1999).
