Elith ''Nulle'' Nykjær Jorgensen was born in Gentofte, Denmark. He is a Danish jazz musician, composer, screenwriter, actor and television employee. In his time, he dropped a job as a decorator to be able to play with various jazz orchestras. As a musician, he is self-taught and began his career in the early 1960s in Cap Horn in Nyhavn. Through the 1960s, it was jazz bands such as the Cap Horn Blowers (1962-64), Papa Benny's Jazzband (1964-68) and Basse Seidelin's Jazz band that benefited from his musical talent. From 1968 until 1977 he played with Fessor's Big City Jazzband. As a musician, Elith Nykjær plays both clarinet, alto saxophone and harmonica. In 1977, Elith Nykjær dropped his permanent job as props operator at Danmarks Radio. In 1991, he debuted as an actor in the play "Mathias", where he played Jesus. Since the end of the 1980s, Nulle's own group "Nulle & Verdens Orkestret", in which he himself plays the clarinet, has toured the USA and most of Europe and participates in Denmark at the annual Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
