Rumors started swirling that the longtime loves were engaged after the 28-year-old actress flashed a diamond ring on that finger at the 2025 Golden Globes. Reports popped up suggesting that Tom popped the question between Christmas and New Years.

However, neither Tom nor Zendaya directly addressed the speculation. Dominic wrote about his son’s happy news and shared some insight into the proposal.

In a post on Patreon, Dominic said that he would not be giving away any private details about the couple’s engagement. However, he did confirm that Tom went into the proposal with a plan.

“Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared,” he wrote, via People. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.

When Tom Holland first slid into the iconic Spider-Man suit, he expected to feel like a superhero. But instead, he was disappointed. Why? His suit wasn’t ready, so he had to borrow his stunt doubles. And guess what? It didn’t fit. At all. “It wasn’t quite as heroic as I would have hoped,” Tom said. “He was much bigger than I was. So when I wore the first Spider-Man costume, it was kind of baggy and saggy around the face and stuff.” It was not precisely the Spidey debut he had in mind.

But here’s the twist: Tom was still living the dream despite the suit being slightly off. The kid who always felt too small—especially in rugby class—was now part of the Avengers. And that’s a flex. Tom grew up feeling out of place.

Tessa, a blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier, joined Tom‘s family as a puppy back in 2014. “I would like to introduce to everyone little Tess. The newest member of the family,” the actor shared on Instagram at the time.

Tom‘s dad Dominic Holland confirmed Tessa’s death in a Patreon blog post on March 28.

London, March 16 (Ians) Actors Tom Holland and Zendaya were spotted reuniting for a date in the UK, proving that their relationship remains strong despite their busy schedules that often keep them apart.

The ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ co-stars were photographed shopping for groceries at the Waitrose supermarket in London on Wednesday morning, March 15, reports ‘aceshowbiz.com’.

In pictures which have circulated online, the two-time Emmy Award winner helped her beau navigate a big shopping cart of food as he pushed the cart.

The two were also seen grabbing coffee before going to shop for groceries at the high-end market. They were holding hands while having light talk during the stroll. Both stars dressed down during the outing.

On Sunday, they were spotted taking a relaxing stroll with Tom’s parents, Nikki and Dominic Holland, while walking their dogs.

Actor Tom Holland doesn't feel trapped in his Spider-Man avatar, and says it is all about creating a balance in professional life.

"It is a balance of doing other movies while doing these big movies. I did one with Alfonso Gomez-Rejon ('The Current War'), did 'The Devil All the Time', which I shot in Alabama. It is a dark film. I am also doing a film with Russo Brothers later this year called 'Cherry'," Holland told Ians while discussing how he ensures he doesn't get trapped in his onscreen superhero avatar.

"It is about kind of fitting into schedule these new indie projects which are very character focused, and about balance," he added.

That’s because Tom Holland is playing the friendly neighborhood webslinger in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Exuberant and super-friendly, the 21-year-old English actor is the third person to play Marvel Comics’ most popular superhero on the big screen since the turn of the century. And if the overeager, sarcastic teen approach to Peter Parker that he introduced in last year’s Captain America: Civil War is maintained, we’ll have a much different wall crawler than with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s angstier interpretations.

“I tried to bring a lot of levity to the character, so at every opportunity I got I was trying to crack jokes and be the wise guy,” says Holland over the phone.

First portrayed by Tobey Maguire in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, then portrayed by Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel, now 19 year old British actor Tom Holland will take on the iconic role of Peter Parker.

Since the new version of Spider-Man was announced, it was clear Marvel was looking for a younger actor who would portray a high school-aged Peter Parker, and Tom has beaten fellow Brits Charlie Rowe and Asa Butterfield to the role, after a world-wide casting search.

Marvel and Sony Pictures, and producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal conducted an extensive search for the new Spider-man and the studios and producers were impressed by Holland’s performances in The Impossible, Wolf Hall, and the upcoming In the Heart of the Sea, and by a series of complex screen tests.

Sony Chairman commented "For Spidey himself, we saw many terrific young actors, but Tom’s screen tests were special.

The lineup for this year's Pointless Celebrities series has been announced by BBC One.

Beginning with an August 9 comedy special, the upcoming series will feature different themes each week.

Four teams of two from the world of music, TV, soaps, sport, food and drink, journalism, radio and theatre will compete for charity in weekly specials to air on Saturday evenings on BBC One.

Warren United follows the fortunes of Warren Kinglsey, an overweight kitchen salesman and dedicated football fan. It will air on ITV.

Written by David Quantick and Dominic Holland, the show will feature the voices of Darren Boyd (Spy), Morgana Robinson (House of Fools), Morwenna Banks (Peppa Pig), Johnny Vegas and Eleanor Lawrence (Common Ground).

The production comes from Baby Cow (Uncle, Gavin and Stacey, Mighty Boosh and Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa) and Canadian animation house Smiley Guy.

The show will launch on April 22.
