Gucci Mane tried to kick a military vet and his mom out of their seats at last Sunday's Falcons-Packers game ... a vet who was there to be honored as Atlanta's "hometown hero." Charles Harris -- a 16-year Army vet stationed in Fort Benning, Ga -- says before kickoff, Gucci and his fiancee, Keyshia Ka'oir, walked up and told him he and his mom were in their seats. Harris tells us Gucci had a special attendant...

Ion TV is trying to beef up their network lineup to boost their ratings and it seems to be a promising move. Their latest choice is Saving Hope, a Canadian supernatural medical show. It follows the the lives of doctors Alex Reid and Charles Harris, who are engaged. However, their world was turned upside down when Charles finds himself in a coma and Alex is left to pick up the pieces with an uncertain future. The show has only had two seasons with a third one premiering this month. It will also air the third season as it airs, as part of their sweet deal.
This is amazing news. Ion TV has landed an amazing deal that allows them to be the only Us network with the Canadian favorite. They must be feeling the love and happiness over this news. It could boost their image as a good network for...

“The organizers of the International Film Festival of Kerala (Iffk) have decided to have Australians serving as chairperson of the main jury for two years in succession – Bruce Beresford last year and Paul Cox this year. It is instructive to note that while there was some space for aborigines in Beresford’s films, there has been practically none in Cox’s body of work.”
Year – 1987. Even as ‘white’ Australia was preparing to celebrate 200 years of white settlement, the oppression of aborigines – the original inhabitants of the continent – continued apace. The oppression is naked and heartless in outback settlements, but exists in subtler forms in Australian towns and cities. I have in one of my scrapbooks an agency report dating back to that year which speaks of a high court judge who wept as he listened to harrowing accounts of racism and denial of justice to aborigines in a remote New South Wales community.

This review may contain spoilers A new genre medical drama with Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks, "Stargate: SG1") and Lois Lane (Erica Durance, "Smallville") premiered, and of course I tuned in. The show starts off with a fairly small bang as the taxi Alex Reid (Durance) and Charles Harris (Shanks) gets side swiped. Alex was not even wearing a seat belt, having been straddling Charles moments before and is completely unhurt. Charles appears to have a cut on his head. They get out, call it in (name checking Adelaide Street, is it officially set in Toronto? It's filmed there) and check on the other driver. She has a collapsed lung and Charles fixes it with a pocket knife and a tampon tube (none of which was sterilized first, eww!). He then collapses and the drama starts. He is her ...
