Tenth-grader Filippov, who in real life spoke in a thick operatic bass, also came to the screening. Pashennaya just looked at him and immediately exclaimed that Roman needed to go to the theater. In 1953, Roman graduated from high school, and then became a student at the Shchepkin Theater School, where Vera Pashennaya turned out to be his teacher.
