Born in Kansas City and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Joshua Fardon attended Northwestern University and earned an MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama.
As an actor, he has worked onstage at The Public, Classic Stage Company, Williamstown, The Ahmanson, Yale Rep, The Old Globe, South Coast Playhouse, The Mark Taper Forum and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
He portrayed Luke Skywalker in the Lucasfilm/NPR recording of Return of the Jedi. His Film & TV credits include Chicago Fire, Conspiracy Theory, Volcano, The West Wing and Frasier.
Josh is a three-time O'Neill semi-finalist, a member of the WGA America East, The Dramatists Guild, SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
He is the Creative Director of The Naked Angels Theatre Company in Chicago and a Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists.

His one-acts and short musicals have been produced in Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Denver and Fort Lauderdale. His short films Tenant and Shattered Bits were official selections of danceswithfilms.
As a composer, he scored the movie Adopt a Sailor, the Los Angeles production of Ruth Margraff's Stadium Devildare, Ken Rhot's The Birds, and his own A Cult Musical.
