Manipulation, when wielded skillfully, can reshape reality and convince people to abandon their values, even their loved ones. “Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story,” directed by Kevin Fair, is a haunting exploration of how a marriage counselor, Jodi Hildebrandt, infiltrates the life of Ruby Franke, a devoted mother and wife. Only to dismantle her family from within. Remarkably, this story is drawn from real-life events, depicting Ruby as a mother who, at first, embodies traditional family values, yet under Jodi’s corrosive influence, loses sight of her responsibilities.
Ruby’s tragic incident is in news coverage by the BBC, where clips capture her expressions of guilt and remorse, underscoring the irreversible damage caused by misplaced loyalty. Ruby’s story serves as a stark reminder of the importance of discernment in trusting others, especially those whose intentions might not be as genuine as they seem. With that in mind,...

It's always a pleasure speaking with Lucas Bryant, and after a two-year hiatus, he's back with another Christmas movie, Hallmark Movie & Mysteries Five Minutes More: Moments Like These.
In the film, he plays Matthew, a friend of Kaitlyn's (Ashley Williams) husband, who had passed away years earlier.
It's a story about love, loss, and finding new connections to bring you in from the cold.
If you wondered where Lucas has been of late, he and his family spent the insanity of Covid blissfully unaware of the world's stress near his wife's home in Australia.
While the rest of us were locked inside our homes, the Bryant family was running on the beach, sand squishing between their toes.
"We ended up staying a year and a half in this tiny town on the coast that was stunning and incredible. It all felt like a dream. I didn't send many photos back...

Exclusive: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has begun production on Always Amore, a new movie starring Autumn Reeser (The Wedding Veil) and Tyler Hynes (An Unexpected Christmas) for premiere this spring. Oscar-nominated Patty McCormack (The Bad Seed) co-stars in the film, executive produced by celebrity chef, bestselling author and Emmy-winning TV host Giada De Laurentiis.
The movie centers around Elizabeth (Reeser) who, with the support of her mother-in-law Nonna (McCormack), is doing everything she can to keep her late husband’s once acclaimed — but now struggling — Italian restaurant afloat. With business going downhill, she is forced to work with a professional restaurant consultant, Ben (Hynes), to see if they can turn things around. At first, Elizabeth resists the changes Ben believes will save the restaurant, but as they get closer, Elizabeth realizes that not all change is bad. She rediscovers her passion for baking and might even open her heart to new love.

Last year while Holly Robinson Peete was promoting her two Hallmark holiday films, she mentioned she wanted to do one featuring someone on the autism spectrum. Now, she has her chance.
Peete stars in and executive produces “The Christmas Bond” (working title), a new 2021 holiday movie for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries that also stars Lyriq Bent and Nik Sanchez, Variety has learned exclusively.
The film, which is set to begin production now, follows a single mother (played by Peete) and her teenage son with autism (played by Sanchez), who come to a crossroad during Christmas. In doing so, she must learn to let go so her son can flourish, but in the process she will find her “heart healing in unexpected ways,” the network said.
“I am making this movie for my son Rj, others with autism and their families,” said Peete. “I am grateful to Hallmark for bringing this story to screen with authenticity,...

When Colton Haynes made the surprise decision to leave Arrow last year, most of us assumed that that was the last we’d see of Roy Harper. After all, the character faked his death to protect the Green Arrow’s identity and there was talk of Haynes looking to pursue a movie career. Well, regardless of all of that, he’s back for an appearance in tonight’s episode of the hit series.
For a few additional details, here’s the official synopsis for the episode – titled “Unchained” – courtesy of The CW:
The team faces off against a formidable villain nicknamed The Calculator (guest star Tom Amandes). Meanwhile, Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) makes her move and Roy Harper (guest star Colton Haynes) returns to Star City. Kevin Fair directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Beth Schwartz.

The CW has released the first official images from next Wednesday’s episode of Arrow, and by far the biggest reveal is the fact that Colton Haynes is back not just as Roy Harper, but as Arsenal, too. When we last saw him, the young hero had faked his death to protect the Green Arrow’s secret identity, passing on his bow to Thea Queen. There’s no sign of her here though, which does lead to a lot of interesting questions.
For further details on what to expect from this episode of Arrow (titled “Unchained”), here’s the official synopsis, courtesy of the network:
Roy Harper Returns; Nyssa Makes Her Move — The team faces off against a formidable villain nicknamed The Calculator (guest star Tom Amandes). Meanwhile, Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) makes her move and Roy Harper (guest star Colton Haynes) returns to Star City.

The CW has released the first promo for next week’s instalment of Arrow, and this one introduces a dangerous new foe for Team Arrow to square off against. Last night’s episode was solid enough, but felt a bit like filler, so expectations going into this one will be high, especially as Damien Darhk’s plan for Star City remains a mystery.

While it had previously been confirmed that the hero would show up this year, it’s good to know when it’s happening, but what brings him back to Star City remains to be seen at this stage. Could it be the new villain that this instalment looks set to introduce?

Well, "Smallville" fans, on Friday night we all said goodbye to one of our very favorite series as Clark Kent's beginning came to a glorious end. The two-hour series finale event marked the end of a decade with "Smallville," and we had the opportunity to relive our favorite memories and to look toward Clark's inevitable destiny as Superman.
Though some fans weren't pleased by the decision to make the season finale a two-hour episode, we're ultimately glad they did - there's no way so much could be packed into one episode. We got heaps of romance, nostalgia, danger, and suspense -- and some of those iconic images we've been waiting for since the series began on October 16, 2001.
Here are our favorite moments from the final episode - in chronological order. Make sure to add your favorites in the comments section and let us know if you think we overlooked something important.

Michael Rosenbaum returns in the series finlae as Clarks arch nemesis Lex Luthor for the ultimate 2-hour showdown. How do you culminate a ten year journey with a 2 hour finale?
Smallville will attempt to do just that as it wraps up Season 10 and the series with the apt-titled episode “Finale.” The CW has released the official synopsis of the two-part episode, which appropriately brings back all of the big names of the show for one last session. The episode description doesn’t tell us anything new, but it does point out that Kevin Fair has been given the nod to direct. He last directed the mediocre ‘Abandoned,’ the eighth episode of this tenth season that featured Teri Hatcher as Lois’ mom. However, he did helm the premier episode of Season 8, Odyssey, which was one of the best that season had to offer.
Of course, the other big draw with the finale is the return of Michael Rosebaum as Lex Luthor. Just who he’ll share screen time with has yet to be disclosed,...
