Police are backing away from an original theory that the wife of a wealthy businessman shot her two kids before taking her own life. The husband, who found all three bodies, is 'cooperating' with police. Read on to find out the details. Mitch Murch discovered the bodies of his wife, Cathy Murch, and two kids, Mitch Murch III and Mary Claire Murch, in various rooms of their large St. Louis-area home after hearing gunshots. Mitch told police he was downstairs during the time of the shooting, but he believed his wife shot their kids before killing herself.
