The cast includes Emmy, Oscar and Tony-winner Ellen Burstyn Obie winner Alvin Epstein Tony-nominee Boyd Gaines Mamie Gummer The Good Wife, Emily Owens, M.D. Randy Harrison Queer as Folk Grant Kretchik Obie winner Brian Murray John Pankow Episodes, Mad About You Obie winner Austin Pendleton. The staged reading is directed by Cosmin Chivu and includes original music by Jesse Selengut performed by Tatiana Eva-Marie vocal, Marius Mihalache cimbalom and Stefan Zeniuk clarinet. Previously announced performers, Nina Arianda, Kim Cattrall and Hunter Parrish, are no longer available to participate in the reading.

Classic Stage Company's new production of Anton Chekhov's tragicomic masterpiece The Cherry Orchard, featuring John Turturro Lopakhin, Dianne Wiest Ranevskaya, Ken Cheeseman Pischick, Daniel Davis Gaev, Alvin Epstein Fiers, Josh Hamilton Trofimov, Slate Holmgren Yasha, Roberta Maxwell Charlotta, Juliet Rylance Varya, Michael Urie Yepikhodov, Elisabeth Waterston Dunyasha and Katherine Waterston Anya, has extended its upcoming engagement through Friday, December 30. Previews begin Wednesday, November 16 at Csc 136 East 13th Street. The Cherry Orchard is directed by Andrei Belgrader, with a translation by John Christopher Jones. Each has at least two roles in director Sam Mendes' productions of "As You Like It" and "The Tempest." Both productions play at The Duke on 42nd Street Sm, a New 42nd Street? project, 229 West 42nd Street. Hamlet features Christian Camargo in the title role.
