Belinda Emmett's brother Shane has joined the cast of Home and Away temporarily. Shane said that his sister, who played Donald Fisher's daughter Rebecca in the Aussie soap before losing her battle with cancer five years ago aged 32, haunted him all over the Home and Away set. He told The Sunday Telegraph: "Of all the gigs, I knew it would be difficult because Belinda spent so much of her professional time there. "There are a lot of the characters Belinda used to work with still there, so I found myself surrounded by her." Rove McManus has opened up about the death of his first wife Belinda Emmett. The 37-year-old Australian chatshow host and comedian, who recently relocated to Los Angeles with second wife Tasma Walton, said that life stopped for him when Home and Away actress Emmett lost her battle with cancer in 2006. Catherine Deveny has been sacked after attacking various stars on Twitter during the Logie Awards. The Australian comedian, who wrote for Melbourne newspaper The Age, sparked the most outrage when she suggested that the late Steve Irwin's 11-year-old daughter Bindi should "get laid".
