- Per Gunnar Elam, born January 16, 1932 in Karlstad, is a Swedish actor. He studied to become at the Willy Koblancks Theatre School in Stockholm 1949-52. He debuted in film 1955 and has subsequently appeared in both television shows and on stage. Engaged at a number of theaters in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In 1976, he played Rickard Furumo (speaking part) in Lars Johan Werle's opera "Tintomara", in Gothenburg and London as well as in the Swedish Television version. He is a renowned interpreter of Gustav Fröding and has made half a dozen guest appearances in the US presenting Fröding.
