Daryl Duke was born on 8 March 1929 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He was a director and producer, known for The Silent Partner (1978), Payday (1973) and The Bold Ones: The Senator (1970). He was married to Anne-marie Dekker. He died on 21 October 2006 in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Directors
Branch).

As a TV director he worked with Canada&#39;s CBC station.

Began career as an editor with Canada&#39;s National Film Board in the
early &#39;50s.

Graduate of the University of British Columbia.

George McCowan replaced Darryl as director part way through production of Shadow of the Hawk (1976).
