The Sadness Vinyl from Enjoy the Ride Records

The Sadness‘ soundtrack composed by Australian duo Tzechar is available on vinyl from Enjoy the Ride Records.

The 2xLP album is pressed on “Infected Eyeball” (limited to 100) and “Bloodshot” (limited to 150) colored vinyl with a screen-printed D-side.

Priced at $36.99, the score is housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Garreth Gibson.

The Substance Print from Mutant

Fresh of its Academy Award win for Best Makeup & Hairstyling, The Substance has received a poster from Mutant.

Designed by Sachin Teng, the 18×24 10-color screenprint is limited to 135 and costs $60. It’s estimated to ship on May 23.

Worf's Klingon heritage conflicted with his Starfleet duties, leading to touching moments like the bonding ritual with Jeremy. After Worf's mother's death, he bonds with Jeremy, who blames him, in a heartfelt and emotional episode of Tng. Jeremy's fate is never revealed after "The Bonding," as producers considered bringing him back but ultimately decided against it.

Lt. Worf (Michael Dorn) had another "brother" on Star Trek: The Next Generation, but he only appeared in one episode before being forgotten. As the only Klingon in Starfleet, Worf often struggled to reconcile his duties as a Starfleet officer with his Klingon culture. As Chief of Security on the USS Enterprise-d, Lt. Worf performed his role well and Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) often encouraged Worf to explore his Klingon heritage. Throughout Tng's seven seasons, Worf learned more about his Klingon family, eventually meeting his biological brother, Kurn (Tony Todd).

In Star Trek: The Next Generation...

Writing "The Bonding" for St: Tng was a pivotal moment for Ronald D. Moore, setting the stage for his darker, character-driven work on future shows. Moore's focus on Klingon culture in Tng & DS9 laid the groundwork for his exploration of complex political and moral conflicts in Battlestar Galactica. Moore's impact on the Star Trek franchise cannot be overstated, as his scripts for Tng and DS9 reshaped Klingon lore and deepened the exploration of death and grief in the Trek universe.

RoboCop 2 4K Uhd from Scream Factory

RoboCop 2 will protect the innocent on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on June 18 via Scream Factory. The 1990 sequel has been newly scanned in 4K from the original camera negative with Dolby Vision.

Irvin Kershner (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back) directs from a script by comic book legend Frank Miller and Walon Green (Eraser). Peter Weller returns to star with Nancy Allen, Dan O’Herlihy, Tom Noonan, Belinda Bauer, and Gabriel Damon.

As a child of the '90s, I experienced my first heartbreak the way countless other kids of a certain generation did: bawling my eyes out at the beginning of "The Land Before Time." 3.5 The Bonding

As the episode opens, Worf is leading an away team to the surface of a planet once inhabited by an alien race who knew only war. Unfortunately, his blatant disregard for the ship's policy of placing only the most important staff in harm's way causes problems when a long-dormant bomb explodes, killing Lieutenant Aster, the ship's archaeologist. Oh no! Who will reassemble any old pottery fragments they find now?

As they wheel Aster's corpse down to cold storage (presumably), Troi informs Picard and Worf that Aster had a son, Jeremy, who has also lost his father. RoboCop (1987)

With a B-movie premise, a relatively tight budget and a director in Paul Verhoeven who'd never made a movie in Hollywood before, the odds were stacked against the original RoboCop from the start. However, Verhoeven and writers Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner managed to inject the film with great action, memorable one-liners and a cutting satirical edge that commented on American culture. We'd buy that for a dollar!
