Nathan William Collins was born in Salem, Oregon on the 26th of April,
1977, to James and Karen and grew up on a small farm outside of
Stayton, Oregon. The youngest child of four, Nathan attended Mari-Linn
Elementary School in Lyons, Oregon until his parents divorced in the
late 1980's where he transferred between schools in Stayton and Salem
until finally dropping out altogether during his freshman year at
Stayton High School and moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in
modeling and acting. Nathan got brief notoriety in Portland, Oregon
while working at the now closed down infamous underage nightclub,
called The City Nightclub, which received both local and national
attention on MTV for being an openly gay youth nightclub, where Nathan
performed regularly as a character named, BeQueva, in the mid 1990s,
and also starred as Dr. Frankfurter in the Portland production of The
Rocky Horror Picture Show, receiving much acclaim from its large cult
following. Throughout his teens Nathan moved to every major city on the
west coast of the USA, and spent a year in New York City, before going
back to Los Angeles. Nathan's big break in modeling finally came in
2004 while living in Palm Springs, California and working as a cocktail
waiter at a gay bar called Toucan's, when he landed on the cover of My
Gay World, a gay/lesbian travel magazine, as the cover-boy for Atlanta,
Georgia. Next came a photo shoot for an Italian fashion magazine with
Andy Warhol alumni, Udo Kier, and then became the personal assistant to
the late Anna Nicole Smith. After the tragic death of Anna Nicole
Smith, Nathan returned to his Oregon roots to play a small role in the
Pentacle Theatre's (Salem, Oregon) production of Neil Simon's comedy,
The Sunshine Boys, where Nathan received glowing reviews for his
portrayal of "Eddie".
