Linda Carola. actor, singer & musician can be seen on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm's final season 12, Episode 2 as The Judge, and coming soon you'll find her in a supporting role in a feature film with an all-star cast.
Linda was born into a family of professional musicians with established players regularly jamming in her home that included the then young jazz legendary guitarist Pat Martino and her brother, a Broadway musician, So, it only seemed natural that her dream was to be in the entertainment industry, and enrolled in a theater program after seeing her first Broadway show Sweeney Todd, with Angela Lansbury, a gift from her brother.
Early on, while still in drama school, she was cast in the movie Mrs Soffel with Diane Keaton and in a Ron Howard film Gung Ho, opposite Michael Keaton (earning her Screen Actors Guild card). Later she performed in the movie Kingpin, opposite Bill Murray & Woody Harrelson and and the rest is history...
While working in the theater, and on films while living in New York, she got cast in The PBS American Playhouse production of Darrow opposite Kevin Spacey, as well as a Principle role opposite Ming Na Wen in a corporate film and more.
Linda studied acting, voice and directing at the Pittsburgh Playhouse under direction of Point Park College where she holds a degree in theater. She hosted and participated as an actor in an improv workshop with the late Martin de Maat, co-founder of Chicago's 'Second City' training center. and she has experience as a Casting Director for film & TV.
Linda's mom sang pop and jazz standards of her favorite singers Ella and Peggy Lee. She enjoys singing jazz and blues, playing guitar, piano, ukulele, percussion and tambourine as well. In continuing her mom's tradition, she has an ongoing collection of female jazz vocalist that was cherished in her home, keeping the torch songs alive and swingin'.
Linda is a member of SAG-AFTRA and The Blues Foundation, NOW, and lives in Los Angeles.
