Born in Bristol, England and raised in Calgary, Alberta Elizabeth is an award winning actress who lives and works out of Toronto. A highly versatile actress with an impressive emotional depth and range, she is known for her work as Donna on MGM+'s award winning hit series FROM, for which she received a Saturn nomination for best supporting actress. Elizabeth can be seen in David Cronenberg's The Shrouds (Prospero Pictures/SBS International), RT Thorne's 40 Acres (Hungry Eyes), and When Hope Calls (GAC). Other credits include IT (New Line Cinema). Clarice (CBS/MGM), Surrealestate (SyFy) Mary Kills People (Cameron Pictures) - CSA nomination - Best supporting actress, Guess Who?(Tubi), SmokeBreak (Benchmark) which she also co-produced and for which she received an ACTRA Award for Outstanding Performance, Orphan Black (Temple Street/BBC America/Bell Media), Alias Grace (Halfire Ent.), Slings and Arrows (Rhombus Media), and cult classic The Boondock Saints.
Her extensive voice credits include numerous radio/web dramas and cartoons including Mrs. Turtle on the long-running Franklin the Turtle (Nelvana/Corus). Elizabeth also voiced and performed the mo-cap for the role of Emma Child in Ubisoft's Watchdog's Legion, and numerous characters in Falling Squirrel's ground-breaking The Vale.
Throughout her long, successful and eclectic theatre career Elizabeth has appeared in leading roles in theatres throughout Canada, including several seasons at The Shaw Festival. She is also an acting teacher/coach and writer who holds a BFA in acting (University of Alberta) and an MA in Theatre Performance and Drama ( University of Toronto). She is married to actor Cliff Saunders, with whom she has two daughters.
