Indie director Gus Van Sant may not have won the directing slot on "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" like Robert Pattinson wanted him to, but the auteur is getting a second chance to work with one of the stars of "Twilight," Taylor Lautner.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two are set to make a small-budget film together based on a nonfiction article from the New Yorker, but there aren't many details about the project other than that.
Van Sant and Lautner recently found themselves in the middle of controversy. After photos of the two found their way online, GQ Australia asked Lautner during an interview whether the director and screenwriter Lance Ian Black, who had also been photographed with them, had hit on him. The...

Delilah has revealed that she is facing homelessness. The Australian entertainer, who has worked with stars such as Frank Sinatra, Cher and Dean Martin, said that she lost most of her fortune to a gambling addiction and has also struggled financially since the death of her partner Ian Black last year. Delilah told New Idea magazine: "I've definitely hit rock bottom and if it wasn't for the kindness of close friends helping me out in all sorts of ways, God knows how I'd have survived. "I've always stood tall and been an extremely proud person, so when I first [needed] help with my bills, I was mortified. But... there are many in my shoes or worse, including other well-known showbiz people. "I'm a firm believer in destiny and what's meant to be and the universe working things out for you, but right now it's a terrifying (more)...

Iran's revolutionary guards should be subject to sanctions to force Tehran to curb its nuclear ambitions and respect democracy, the country's leading film-maker and unofficial spokesman for the opposition Green Movement has said.
"If foreign governments deal only with the atomic bomb and forget about democracy and human rights in Iran, they will help dictatorship," Mohsen Makhmalbaf told the Guardian.
"If they want peace in the Middle East, they need a democratic government in Iran. Pressure from inside and pressure from outside can change things."
Makhmalbaf is widely seen as representing Mir Hossein Mousavi, who claimed victory over Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in June's bitterly disputed presidential election. His outspoken comments highlight the dilemma for the Us and others: how to engage the Iranian regime over the nuclear issue without undermining the opposition, still reeling over the crisis that erupted when the incumbent hardliner confounded expectations by beating Mousavi in an allegedly rigged vote.

So, how does it feel to back out on the road with Stella While most people who co-wrote and directed a hit comedy like Role Models might be content to take the rest of the year off and bask in their awesomeness, David Wain is proving yet again that there is no rest for the wickedly funny. Fresh off the success of the Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott-starring film, Wain is reuniting with his two main Michaels (Ian Black, the driest man alive, and Showalter, man-boy supreme) for an East Coast tour with the absurdist comedy trio Stella. Starting with MTV’s mid-'90s sketch comedy series The State, and on through projects like the film Wet Hot American Summer and the Stella television series, Wain had established himself as powerful force for smart-yet-goofy humor, both in front of and behind the camera. Paste caught up with Wain...
