When Spider-Man 3 was gearing up for its release, fans were expecting a blockbuster and a treat given that it finally had one long-awaited spidey villain: the Symbiote Venom. Instead, it is now one of the most divisive films in the franchise, and widely regarded as one of the worst Spider-Man films ever to have been released.

While the director, Sam Raimi has been at the receiving end of criticism for a long time, a while back Venom producer took the blame for it.

Entertainment journalism is, modestly speaking, a vital but mentally taxing burden we bear with quiet bravery.
We've had to not only see but analyze and remember corners of this industry no one should ever be exposed to. Our writers sometimes wake in a cold sweat, screaming about how it's fine to think the Snyder Cut is just "okay." If we close our eyes too tightly, we see flashes of the cursed photoshoot for Universal's Dark Universe, complete with Russell Crowe's hand awkwardly hovering over an invisible chair. And, when the night is quiet, the ghost of Dwayne Johnson promising to change the "hierarchy of power" echoes in the recesses of our once pure psyches.
But none of these compare to the pain that is remembering the birth, life, and agonizing death of Sony's "Spider-Man" Universe. For seven years, we watched them try again and again to prove...

Ever since MCU broke the news about casting Unorthodox Emmy nominee Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph aka Sabra in Captain America: Brave New World, there has been a wave of controversy surrounding the character. Considering how she’s an Israeli superhero and a Mossad agent in the comics, her character’s inclusion raised concerns among Palestinians, leading Marvel to rework her character for the big screen.

Now, amid such tumultuous times, while Captain America: Brave New World producer Nate Moore confirmed that Sabra is an Israeli in the final movie but not a Mossad agent, Marvel producer Avi Arad had reflected on this possible controversy over a decade back. Almost being foresighted about how people might react to Sabra’s appearance in MCU, Arad had justified his hesitation to cast the character, back in 2012.

If you're a Spider-Man villain, odds are you're either themed after an animal or a Goblin. The original Green Goblin, Norman Osborn, is Spider-Man's most personal and deadly enemy, whether we're talking about the comics or Willem Dafoe's unforgettable Goblin in the "Spider-Man" movies.
As should be expected with any comic that's been running for 60 years, many "Spider-Man" writers have recycled classic ideas, which has led to many different Goblin successors. Some of them have worked, like Harry Osborn stepping into his dad's shoes after a falling out with his best pal Peter Parker.
But there's one Goblin villain distinct enough to be a separate character, even if he does still exist in the Green Goblin's shadow. That is the Hobgoblin, introduced in 1983's "Amazing Spider-Man" #238 by writer Roger Stern and artist John Romita Jr. Corporate titan Roderick Kingsley comes across one of the believed-dead Green Goblin's old hideouts,...

In April 2020, Colombia Pictures announced a live-action movie adaptation of the famous manga One Punch Man. However, there are concerns about how well the One Punch Man live-action movie will approach the source material, as many anime adaptations often fail to capture the spirit of the originals. Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, who previously worked on the Jumanji films and Venom, originally signed on as writers, with Marvel Studios’ founder Avi Arad set to produce. In 2022, Justin Lin, most notably known for his work in The Fast and Furious franchise, was revealed as the One Punch Man movie’s director.
However, a recent One Punch Man movie update reported that Dan Harmon had been hired to rewrite the script, alongside Heather Anne Campbell. Not much is currently known about the One Punch Man movie, but its current rewrites suggest a new approach to the film’s original premise. Furthermore, while there are many fancasts,...

Quick Links Popeye Was Set to Be an All-American Action Hero Producers Were Determined to Put a New Twist on an Old Character The Film Failed to Set Off the Mark for a Second Time
Though the world of animation is incredibly diverse and dynamic, Popeye has remained at the forefront for over 90 years. Complete with an unusual look, a passionate heart, and gigantic forearms, this sailor has been a keen fixture in popular culture for years and continues to be adored by fans. As such, it comes as no surprise that production companies are always determined to expand his lore via films, TV shows, and comic strips.
Back in 2010, Sony announced that it was going to put a new spin on this beloved character and recruited an all-star cast of animators and producers. But, after failing to hit the mark, the company decided to place all its efforts into another venture,...

If Marvel's first plans for a movie franchise had succeeded, the MCU probably wouldn't exist today. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown exponentially throughout the years, going from the Avengers' monumental team-up in 2012's The Avengers to their universe-defining battle against Thanos in 2019's Avengers: Endgame, and from Marvel Studios' first venture into streaming with WandaVision to the multiversal war at the center of Avengers: Secret Wars, as well as more than a dozen upcoming MCU projects in the next few years.
Kevin Feige's ambitious plans for an interconnected franchise made the MCU what it is nowadays: an ever-growing behemoth grossing almost $30 billion and gathering Hollywood's biggest stars. Sixteen years after Iron Man marked the beginning of the franchise, the MCU now comprises over thirty-four movies, fifteen shows, and two Special Presentations, plus a few shorts. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has taken in nearly $70 million at the worldwide box office so far since its Dec. 20 release. Now, the film’s co-writers have a few ideas on which video game franchises they would like to see on the big screen. Per IGN, Sonic 3 co-writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller said they would love to make a The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker spinoff movie.
“I think another easy one I think we can answer because the movie’s already happening, and we’re already not doing would be Zelda,” Miller said. “I remember when we played Wind Waker, we were always like, man, I mean it, it would probably be weird if they made a Zelda movie to start with Wind Waker versus the more classic Hyrule. But we both loved Wind Waker, and it’s so cinematic."

The final installment in the highly successful and acclaimed Spider-Verse film has found its directors. Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson have been tapped to direct Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
In an exclusive report from Deadline, it was announced that the Sony Animation project would recruit longtime members of the Spider-Verse family to helm the last film in the trilogy jump-started by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. And though the names of the new directors may not be as big as the aforementioned Lord and Miller, the two men have worked on the franchise since its inception.
"We have had the immense privilege of being part of Miles' journey from the very beginning, and directing the conclusion to his story is beyond exciting," said Persichetti and Thompson. Sony Pictures has just announced that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has found its directors in Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson. And yes, this news comes our way nine months after the threequel was meant to swing into theaters.
Persichetti was part of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse directing team and executive produced Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Thompson, meanwhile, was a production designer on the first movie and graduated to the directing team on the sequel alongside Joaquim Dos Santos and Kemp Powers.
Given their respective roles in shaping this animated franchise, this is quite the dream team for the movie. While it's possible they've been working on Beyond the Spider-Verse for longer than we've been made aware, even a 2026 release date feels optimistic at this stage.

Persichetti was among the co-directors of the 2018 Oscar-winner Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and worked as an executive producer on 2022’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Thompson was production designer on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and eventually joined Joaquim Dos Santos and Kemp Powers as directors on the film, which earned $690.5 million globally. In the latest scoop from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a deleted scene from ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ has surfaced, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of a multiverse-spanning menace.

Like Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage before it, Venom: The Last Dance didn't boast the strongest screenplay. That was evident when the Symbiote, on the run from the Xenophage, fully transformed for a dance number despite repeatedly saying that doing so would bring the near-unstoppable monster bearing down on him.
In the opening few minutes of the threequel, Eddie Brock is sent back to his reality following a brief trip to Earth-616; however, in an unexpected and still-unexplained retcon, he travels through a portal like the ones Knull uses rather than the glowing effect seen in Spider-Man: No Way Home's post-credits stinger.
In a newly revealed deleted scene from Venom: The Last Dance, we find Eddie travelling through the apparent void between realities. A shadowy creature, presumably a Xenophage, spots the Lethal Protector and his Codex, likely revealing how the King in Black learned of its existence.

Like the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Blade, Daredevil, and more, Spider-Man was always off-limits to Marvel Studios. There had long been chatter about the web-slinger appearing in the MCU - who could forget that fake "leaked" post-credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron - but it never seemed likely.
In the mid-2010s, Sony Pictures had its own plans for Spidey, including at least two more movies in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise and a Sinister Six project from Drew Goddard.
However, when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 underperformed and leaked "Sony Hack" emails revealed that Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal had at least discussed the possibility of a crossover, the decision was made to bring Peter Parker into the MCU.
That happened with 2016's Captain America: Civil War, with Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and - following a brief spat which saw the Russo Brothers and Tom Holland get involved - Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Exploring the duality of his roles as Eddie Brock and Venom, we hear from Clark Backo (Sadie), Peggy Lu (Mrs. Chen), Rhys Ifans (Martin), and Stephen Graham (Partick Mulligan) on the unique experience of sharing the screen with the actor.
There's also some great behind-the-scenes footage of the Area 51 battle and Eddie and Venom's ill-fated trip to Las Vegas.
It's unclear what the future holds in store for Hardy as Venom; the actor has said repeatedly that this movie was a farewell to the role, while it's been reported that the idea was to shift focus to Agent Venom next.
Those plans may have been scrapped following the reported conclusion of Sony's...

After Sony’s recent Marvel misfires on 2022’s Morbius and this year’s Madame Web, I wasn’t holding out too much hope for yet another Marvel villain origin story when I headed to the press screening of Kraven the Hunter. Its shuffling around the release schedule didn’t give me much hope, and word spread from someone at a rival studio that the exhibitor screening didn’t go well, also dampening my hopes.
But I always try to go into a movie with an open mind, and in this case, although Kraven is a well-known villain in the comic book world and has popped up here and there, a starring movie wasn’t top of my list.
That said, I had a surprisingly good time with this ultraviolent R-rated telling of how a Russian kid, Sergei Kravinoff, grows up to become a fearsome hunter — not of animals, who he spiritually embraces,...

With Sony's Spider-Man Universe reportedly at an end, Venom: The Last Dance may be the last movie featuring the Lethal Protector we get for quite some time...unless those Spider-Man 4 rumours prove to be correct, of course.
The threequel hit Digital platforms today and Fandango has just shared the first 10 minutes of the movie. In that, we get the opening prologue with Andy Serkis' Knull, the weird Spider-Man: No Way Home retcon that sees Eddie Brock return to his reality via a completely different type of portal, and a fun clash between the anti-hero and some local thugs.
By now, we're sure you're aware that Venom: The Last Dance set out to establish the King in Black as a major antagonist in a future movie. We don't know whether that's Spider-Man 4 or the presumably now-scrapped Agent Venom project (there's even been chatter about Knull being Sinister Six's...

This Friday, Kraven the Hunter will be released in theaters and, if early box office projections and online buzz are anything to go by, interest in the movie is minimal at best.
To put it bluntly, it feels like no one cares about this movie or what's become known as "Sony's Spider-Man Universe." It's hard to blame them after the past six years - the franchise launched with 2018's Venom - and it's time to take the studio to task for how it's failed these characters.
In this feature, we take a deep dive into where things have gone wrong for this shared world. Those range from one too many liberties with the source material, shining a spotlight on the wrong characters, and the way Sony has destroyed any trust fans have in them with a series of infuriatingly stupid creative decisions.

Venom: The Last Dance's Digital Release Date Has Been Confirmed And It's Coming Sooner Than Expected

There have been rumblings that Venom: The Last Dance might arrive on Digital platforms as soon as this week and Sony Pictures has now confirmed it will be available to watch at home starting tomorrow.
This comes after the threequel ended its theatrical run with $472 million, the franchise's lowest haul. It's unclear whether special features will be included in this release, though we recently got a leaked look at those.
Sony is one of the only studios to hang on for as long as possible when it comes to the gap between a theatrical and Digital release.
For the most part, it's an approach that's paid off, though Kraven the Hunter might premiere at home much quicker than Venom: The Last Dance if recent box office projections are any indication of what's in store for that movie.
Some new VFX stills from Venom: The Last Dance have also been released...

2024 is nearing its end but there's still one last comic book movie to see before the year is over. We are, of course, talking about Kraven the Hunter, a Sony Pictures title that, well, not many people actually appear all that interested in watching.
Next weekend, the R-Rated action-adventure will go head-to-head with The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim and it now appears the battle between them is going to be much closer than originally expected.
According to Box Office Theory, Kraven the Hunter looks set to debut in the $16 million - $24 million range. The animated Lord of the Rings movie, however, is eyeing a $15 million - $24 million debut.
While these projections are all over the place at this point, it's clearly going to be a tight race and one which, if interest in both movies doesn't increase, will see them both flop. As it stands,...

Sony Pictures has brought online the opening eight minutes of Kraven the Hunter. The action thriller will open in theaters on December 13 and tickets are now available.
This film was rated R by the Motion Picture Association for strong bloody violence and language.
The movie, which is part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, is officially described as follows: “Kraven the Hunter is the action-packed, R-rated, standalone story of how one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be.
“Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.”
The cast includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe.

With Kraven the Hunter less than two weeks away from arriving in theaters after tickets went on sale this past Friday, we'd expected Sony Pictures to release one final trailer for the Marvel Comics adaptation.
Instead, the studio has just dropped the first 8 minutes of the movie!
This is an unprecedented move, and an approach typically reserved for when a major blockbuster arrives on Digital platforms. It appears Sony wants to give fans a better idea of what to expect from Kraven's long-awaited live-action debut and there's plenty of action and blood to be found in this action-packed sneak peek.
In the preview, we follow Kraven as he's transported to prison where he violently takes out some gangsters. Aaron Taylor-Johnson clearly brushed up on his Russian for these scenes, and the Hunter effortlessly makes his escape after showing off the superpowers which make him more than human.

Like Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage before it, Venom: The Last Dance doesn't exactly have the strongest of scripts.
Plot holes aren't hard to find; for example, why after doing his best to avoid transforming would Venom then do so just for a dance with Mrs. Chen? (resulting in the Xenophage nearly killing them and his and Eddie Brock's eventual capture).
Still, fans were quick to pick up on the fact the threequel made a point of establishing that Detective Pat Mulligan's Symbiote had abandoned him after his run-in with Venom and Carnage in the previous movie. Seeing as the cop was bonded with another of the aliens before being killed, this surely means Toxin is still out there, right?
Perhaps not.
A list of deleted scenes for the upcoming Digital and Blu-ray releases of Venom: The Last Dance has been revealed and among them is "Toxin's Warning.

Tickets for Kraven the Hunter went on sale this morning for Sony Pictures' next Marvel movie and, well, the studio doesn't appear to be pulling out too many stops for this one. So far, four posters have been released, with IMAX's effort recycling an all-too-familiar piece of imagery.
The other four are a little better and, if nothing else, Aaron Taylor-Johnson certainly looks the part. Beyond that, the expectation is that the similarities between this Kraven and his comic book counterpart will be minimal.
Sony might have accepted that Kraven the Hunter will underperform, particularly when early estimates point to a $20 million opening.
The odds are very much stacked against the movie as it will have to contend with holdovers like Wicked and Moana 2, not to mention the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Mufasa: The Lion King the following weekend.

Sony's Kraven the Hunter will be hitting the big screen in December, and weeks ahead of the release, the official ScreenX poster has been revealed. It teases the film's release on Dec. 13, 2024, which will include screenings on the visually immersive, 270-degree panoramic ScreenX.
The ScreenX poster features an illustration of Taylor-Johnson in the movie's titular role. Added blood spots — and the character holding a skull in one hand, while clenching a fist with the other — also tease the brutal violence of the R-rated film. Notably, Kraven the Hunter is the first of all of Sony's Spider-Man Universe films to be given an R-rating following Morbius, Madame Web, and the Venom movies. Check out the new poster below.

Venom: The Last Dance Spoiler Stills Reveal Closer Look At The Lethal Protector's Massive Final Form

Whether you loved or hated Venom: The Last Dance (and Sony's Marvel movies are always divisive), it's hard to deny that the visuals were impressive.
Ilm has shared some shots of the work they did on the threequel, specifically highlighting the Symbiote's final form in the movie's closing moments. As you'll recall, the blockbuster concluded with Venom separating from Eddie Brock to wrap itself around the Xenophage, dragging it into an acid shower which destroyed them both.
Venom became giant-sized and, just to punctuate his demise, Rex Strickland blew himself and the two aliens up to ensure the rampaging Xenophage could no longer threaten Earth. Eddie and Venom's "Codex" was also destroyed, leaving Knull trapped on Klyntar...for now, at least.
However, it's widely believed Venom survived, likely through the piece of Symbiote retrieved by Imperium at the start of the movie. The Lethal Protector may have also transferred...

In Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene, Eddie Brock was pulled to Earth-616 where his alien suit immediately took great interest in a news report about Spider-Man.
The events of Spider-Man: No Way Home revealed that Doctor Strange's botched spell - courtesy of Peter Parker's constant input - had started pulling everyone who knows the wall-crawler's secret identity into the Sacred Timeline. That explained Venom's unexpected arrival on Earth-616, though he never joined the final battle and instead chose to remain in Mexico.
That was confirmed by Spider-Man: No Way Home's stinger, with Eddie sent back home in the same manner as the Spider-Men and Sinister Six Five.

Kraven the Hunter will be here in no time but will he be joined by Spider-Man? At this point, we no longer expect the web-slinger to show up in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (which is admittedly bizarre) but a definitive answer has just found its way online.
According to reliable runtime and trailer leader @Cryptic4KQual, there is no mention of Spider-Man in Kraven the Hunter. The movie has been described as "standalone," though that same labelling didn't stop Madame Web from introducing Peter Parker as a baby.
At the very least, we'd imagined the movie ending with Kraven heading to New York City to hunt down a "spider," though the response to that would have likely been largely negative given the disdain many fans seem to have for these spin-offs.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the fact Kraven the Hunter reportedly has no post-credits scenes. Even without a Spidey tease,...

A new international poster for Kraven the Hunter has been released and it features all the major players, including a first look at Ariana DeBose suited up as Calypso.
In the comics, she studied and wielded powerful arcane magic. After clashing with heroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil, Calypso became known to those who crossed paths with her as "The Witch" and "Hunter of Souls."
It doesn't appear as if Sony Pictures is taking the character down that route, though we're not expecting a particularly comic-accurate take on Kraven (he's given up hunting Spider-Man and is instead focused on tearing apart his father's criminal empire).
A 30-second teaser also teases Kraven's origin story and the fact his mysterious superpowers have turned him into "nature's perfect predator."

Sony Pictures has secured a December 14 cinema release date for “Kraven the Hunter” in mainland China, signaling a planned move into the Asian film industry. The action film, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, will premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival on December 11 before making its North American debut on December 12.
The R-rated film delves into the origins of Marvel’s legendary hunter Kraven, concentrating on his complicated connection with his father, Nikolai Kravinoff, played by Russell Crowe. Richard Wenk, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway wrote the screenplay directed by J.C. Chandor and produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and David Householter.

Venom: The Last Dance featured the live-action debut of the King in Black and God of the Symbiotes, Knull. Played by Andy Serkis, the big bad sent his Xenophage to Earth in a bid to retrieve Eddie Brock and Venom's Codex so he could be freed from his prison on Klyntar.
It didn't work out for the villain but the movie ended with a mid-credits scene driving home what a threat Knull could still be to the universe should he escape.
Now, Karl Lindberg has shared his designs for Knull, explaining, "Worked directly with Writer/Director Kelly Marcel to design this creepy villain. Love how he came out in the movie."
We'd argue that this version is far more terrifying than the one briefly glimpsed in Venom: The Last Dance and you'll notice that Lindberg found a way to incorporate that iconic logo on Knull's chest (we're still not...

We'd argue that this version is far more terrifying than the one briefly glimpsed in Venom: The Last Dance and you'll notice that Lindberg found a way to incorporate that iconic logo on Knull's chest (we're still not...

If you are a Mass Effect fan, then this recent update regarding a TV show adaptation of the game might come as a bitter-sweet piece of news to you since most fans are against one aspect of it all.

Amazon MGM has confirmed that a Mass Effect TV series is in fact in the works. This is the first update regarding the game since 2021, when we first heard about a collaboration between EA and Amazon MGM.
Fans Are Not Extremely Happy About Mass Effect TV Series Fast and Furious 9’s writer could not be trusted with Mass Effect. Image Credit: Bioware
The Mass Effect TV series is currently being written by Daniel Casey, who will also act as the executive producer for the series. Casey is known for meddling with over-the-top sci-fi concepts, which fans do not seem to like as much.

We're expecting one final trailer for Kraven the Hunter to be released before the end of the month, and a new TV spot reveals even more footage from Sony Pictures' next Marvel movie.
In the 30-second teaser, it's confirmed that Kraven will be hunting down the men who work for his father, Russell Crowe's Nikolai Kravinoff. It seems the Spider-Man villain is setting out to dismantle Nikolai's empire, though he risks becoming a criminal himself in the process.
It seems the plan is for Kraven the Hunter to be more gangster movie than superhero outing, though the title character will clash with Rhino...unless that villain has been cut following the overwhelmingly negative reaction to his appearance. Sony completely reworked Morbius' final act and basically reshot the whole thing, so stranger things have happened.
The TV spot also features a new look at Ariana DeBose's Calypso, a...

Spider-Man foe Kraven is a villain through and through, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a comic book where he's portrayed in a heroic light. It makes sense then that he's not getting the hero treatment in this December's Kraven the Hunter movie from Sony Pictures.
A newly released featurette doubles down on the character's sinister side as we see Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Kraven hunting down his targets.
However, the sneak peek - which contains lots of bloody new footage from the movie - also drives home the fact that Kraven the Hunter is a "standalone" story, the same branding given to Madame Web earlier this year. Presumably, that means it takes place in its own reality rather than the world shared by Venom, Morbius, and, Earth-616's Vulture.
The biggest takeaway from this preview is the fact both in the social media posts and featurette, Kraven the Hunter...

When Venom: The Last Dance opened in North America far below initial expectations - with a disappointing $51 million - it looked like Sony Pictures might have another box office flop on its hands.
Morbius and Madame Web were both subjects of ridicule and lost a lot of good faith for a studio that's not exactly known for making quality comic book movies when Marvel Studios isn't involved.
However, since opening in theaters last month, Venom: The Last Dance has continued to exceed expectations. In fact, it's now crossed $400 million at the worldwide box office. As things stand, it will end up making more than Venom: Let There Be Carnage's $503 million, a terrific result considering it only cost $120 million to produce.
In fact, with a reported total production cost of $340 million across the Venom trilogy, this series will end up having made upwards of $1.8 billion in box office revenue for Sony Pictures.

Love or hate Sony Pictures' Lethal Protector, Venom: The Last Dance will remain at #1 for a third weekend in a row heading into Veterans Day.
According to Deadline, the Marvel movie starring Tom Hardy is expected to earn $14 million this weekend after grossing an estimated $3.6 million on Friday. Of note is the fact this is the first time a Venom movie has remained in the top spot for three weekends.
While it's true The Last Dance is the only big movie in theaters (and that the threequel opened well behind Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage), it will be closing in on $113 million by Sunday and has been a much bigger hit overseas.
A $500 million global haul by the end of its run is likely, putting it in the same ballpark as 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage. That's a result the studio will be happy with considering the...

Mass Effect is finally getting a television series, courtesy of Amazon MGM Studios. The new series features Daniel Casey (F9: The Fast Saga) as head writer, with Avi Arad (Venom: The Last Dance) and Karim Zreik (Daredevil) producing alongside EA boss Michael Gamble. Mass Effect was one of the few trailblazers in the video game world, and it only seems fitting that a series is on the way now that video game adaptations are a big deal in the world of movies and television. But what makes Mass Effect such a great game series, and will that translate to television?...

Venom: The Last Dance is a fun movie, but there's one moment which has left pretty much everyone scratching their heads.
The threequel establishes that Eddie Brock and Venom must not fully transform because doing so will activate their Codex and bring Knull's Xenophage immediately to their location. It's a major plot point.
Despite that, when the Lethal Protector is reunited with Mrs. Chen in Last Vegas, Venom fully transforms for an extended dance sequence which brings the Xenophage to their location, risks her life, and leads to them being captured by Imperium.
Now, an extended clip featuring this bizarre Venom: The Last Dance moment has been officially released. Whether you're seeing this for the first time or experiencing it all over again, it paints this character in a whole new light.
Then again, a movie with a title like this surely needed a literal dance scene, right?
