After a few months on hiatus, "One Tree Hill" returns this Monday (April 26) with the final four episodes of Season 7. 

As of now, the series has not yet been renewed for an eighth year, so what happens in these next few hours should be interesting.

I started the week innocently writing about how the Superman reboot should be done – and lo and behold this whole deal about The Dark Knight team – David Goyer, Chris and Jonathan Nolan - handling the Superman reboot hits the fan!

Readers, I apologize on behalf of comics this week. Not a whole lot of good new stuff (save Forgetless) is coming out this week, so my selections for this week’s installment were a struggle. To make matters worse, this will be the last installment of the year because I’ll soon be on vacation and I don’t want to have to do sh*t when I’m supposed to be loungin’.

Don’t worry, I’m mean to return from vacation on January 3rd. So expect more opinionated rambling then.

Since this column is more pessimistic than usual, here are the things I liked this year.

The Spears family hit the hotel pool in Miami again yesterday, where Britney and Jamie Lynn looked hot this week in bikinis to play with their kids. Jayden James and Sean Preston are getting in some quality time with their cousin Maddie while they're all in Floria for Britney's Circus tour. Her next stops are in the Midwest and then down back to Texas, so we may not be seeing quite as much bikini lounging for Brit and her boys - not to mention the surprising shirtless Kevin we saw this week. Britney's working hard as she continues to travel with her tour, but she still has time for her other super successful ventures like her fragrances, the newest of which, also named Circus, will be out this month. Magazine has an interview with Jl and her fiance, Casey Aldridge, to deny all the rumors that he cheated on her while she was pregnant. The National Enquirer, on the other hand, is claiming that Jamie Lynn is pregnant again. It says she thought she couldn't get pregnant while breast feeding and that Jamie Lynn and mom Lynne are completely distraught.
