Dana Carvey did leave his impressions at home when he went on Real Time With Bill Maher Friday night.
When Carvey sat down with Bill Maher, he did his impressions of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. However, he noted how he’s still “working on” nailing his Musk one.
“So, Trump’s there, and he’s got the tie, and then Elon is up there talking, right? And I don’t really do it yet, but I’m working on it,” the Saturday Night Live alum said, referencing when Musk called out his impression on the sketch comedy show in November.
“We got to go to Mars, because we can’t sustain life on planet Earth. We gotta go to Mars, it’s just gonna be really cool, he continued in his Musk mumbled voice.
Carvey then shifted to his Trump voice, responding to what he thinks he’d say,...

The fantasy that rock ‘n’ roll will save the world has been rambling around since damn near the dawn of the genre, but I think it’s fair to say we’ve seen mixed results. Anthems about peace, love and understanding were political rallying cries in the 1960s, and sexual liberation sure has been liberating. But we do still seem to have an awful lot of fascism around here, and conservatism is so rampant that we may only be a few years away from outlawing music altogether unless it’s approved by Kid Rock. (The worst kind of rock.)

Bill Maher says that Donald Trump is right to try to abolish the Department of Education, but Marc Maron is ready to step up and give the smarmy centrist some schooling.
Despite describing himself as a “practical” liberal, the Real Time host has been comparatively warmer toward the second and significantly more reactionary Trump administration than he was toward the first Trump term. Shortly before Trump’s most recent inauguration, Maher claimed to have a “wait and see” approach to the president’s agenda, but the wait is over. According to Maher’s recent comments, Trump is a mixed bag, and the immediate crashing of the economy, the aggression toward our country’s closest allies, the annihilation of the federal workforce and the deliberate weakening of national security are all balanced out by Trump’s move to shutter numerous federal agencies whose responsibilities Maher doesn’t understand.

Whatever your expectations for a (supposedly) $320 million Russo brothers Netflix movie starring Chris Pratt as a Chris Pratt type, Millie Bobby Brown as a wannabe Edward Furlong, and Woody Harrelson as the voice of an animatronic Mr. Peanut, I would recommend that you lower them.
A derivative, self-impressed, and seriously confused adventure set in the aftermath of a global war between humans and the talking robots that were “invented” by Walt Disney to amuse tourists at his theme parks, “The Electric State” is essentially a feature-length adaptation of the argument its directors have been making in the press since “Avengers: Endgame,” the scale and success of which seemed to convince them it was the ultimate film in every sense of the word, and thus inspired them to proselytize about how cinema as we know it is about to be replaced by AI holograms of Tom Cruise or whatever.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) was spotted getting into a cab with singer Kid Rock as they left President Donald Trump‘s inaugural ball at 2:30 a.m.
On January 20, Boebert, who, along with her mom, is a big fan of Rock, had been “fangirling” over him. The Colorado representative was seen devoting her rapt attention to the rock star throughout the concert.
Later, the singer and congresswoman, who are both dedicated Trump supporters, were seen getting into a cab together at about 2:30 a.m.
Boebert’s press secretary refused to comment on the dating rumors.
Boebert is no stranger to the gossip pages. During the New York Young Republican Club’s annual gala in April 2024, Boebert misbehaved by having too much alcohol and was asked to stop taking selfies with President Donald Trump.

Kid Rock had plenty to say about Kendrick Lamar’s performance at Super Bowl 2025, calling it a bold and unapologetic display while also critiquing the NFL’s motives behind the booking.
“To put it nicely, it wasn’t my cup of tea, but I gotta respect it,” Rock said during an interview on Real Time With Bill Maher. “Here’s why: You know, I grew up loving, emulating hip-hop. All things hip-hop. Breakdancing, DJing, graffiti, rapping. And so I understand the culture a little bit more than most… And when I say ‘most,’ I mean white people.”
“Man, this kid pretty much came out, figuratively, with both middle fingers in the air, doing what he does for the people who love what he does, unapologetically,” he continued. “I don’t think he gives a frog’s fat ass what anyone thinks about it. That’s pretty much how I built my career.

Although Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance left many viewers stunned, it still wasn’t quite as stunning as Kid Rock’s mental gymnastics of a reaction.
On Friday’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, the 3x Grammy nominee shared his two cents as someone who “understands the culture,” before going on to rant that Lamar’s set was the “epitome of Dei blowing up.”

Bill Maher isn’t left speechless often, but he was after hearing Kid Rock’s thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show.
During the latest episode of HBO’s Real Time, the host asked the singer-rapper (a longtime supporter of President Donald Trump who has previously spoken out against Dei initiatives) what he thought of this year’s halftime show, as some anti-dei folks criticized the performance for only including people of color.

Donald Trump successfully installed himself as the chairman of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts board this week, and Seth Meyers has a pretty good guess of who the president will name in the next set of Kennedy Center honorees.
To kick off his “A Closer Look” segment on Thursday, Meyers reminded viewers once again that the core issue that helped propel Trump back to the White House was grocery prices, and that voters simply want to be able to afford food.
“And I know it can seem sometimes like Trump is easily distracted by silly stuff, like annexing Greenland, or making Canada the 51st state, or dancing with a sword like he’s in a dinner theater production of ‘Pirates of Penzance,'” Meyers joked, “but I assure you, this man is locked in on the kitchen table issues that matter to the lives of average Americans.”

After years of preaching against “snowflakes,” Kid Rock just had a meltdown of his own! During a surprise appearance at Jbj’s Nashville club, the rocker expected the crowd to go wild, but when the audience didn’t match his energy, he reportedly lost it. Frustrated by the lack of enthusiasm, he threw a fit and stormed off stage, leaving fans stunned and people online highly entertained.

Kid Rock is taking an early exit.
The 54-year-old rock star briefly joined Bon Jovi rocker David Bryan in a birthday celebration on Saturday (February 8) in Nashville, but left the stage before finishing his song after repeatedly scolding the crowd for not clapping.
The Bon Jovi musician turned 63 over the weekend, and celebrated with a party and performance at Jbj’s Nashville, owned by bandmate Jon Bon Jovi.

Kid Rock joined the musician onstage in a surprise appearance, singing “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Two minutes into the performance, he stopped singing and asked the band to pause and told the crowd to clap, demonstrating how they should do it.

Is it a match made in Maga heaven, or just two adults sharing some late night transportation? You be the judge!
According to a new report from Page Six, Kid Rock and Rep. Lauren Boebert were recently spotted getting into a cab together at 2:30 in the morning.
The two reportedly shuffled off together after spending the evening attending the various balls and parties that were thrown to celebrate the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Boebert and Rock have a lot in common, of course:
As the Page Six piece points out, “Both are among Trump’s most die-hard supporters, and they’re both enthusiastic gun-toters (even by rural Republican standards).”
That doesn’t mean, however, that they “kept the party going” after leaving the inaugural celebrations.

Kid Rock just stormed off of the stage after an explicit, swear-ridden tangent. The music superstar does not back down and this was one of those times when he did not get what he wanted. Therefore, he opted to curse up a storm and then walk away. So, what exactly happened? Keep reading for more details.
Kid Rock Storms Off Stage After Explicit Tangent
Fans of Kid Rock know to expect the unexpected when it comes to the hitmaker. He loves to do and say the most outlandish things yet he is an amazing performer. Rock has had such hits as “Bawitdaba” and “Picture” with Sheryl Crow. Yet, for the last several years, he has become much more conservative and somewhat intolerant. That is reflected in how he behaves at shows but onlookers could never have anticipated what went down at Jbj’s in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend.

Kid Rock cut short a performance in Nashville when the audience didn’t clap enough, leading to a petulant outburst from the “American Bad Ass.”
The most awkward part is that it wasn’t even Kid Rock’s own show: He was appearing as a special guest at the birthday bash for Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan, which was being held Saturday (February 8th) at Jon Bon Jovi’s bar in downtown Nashville.

Rock’s appearance came during a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary.” As seen in audience footage, Rock, who sounds like he may have enjoyed a few adult beverages, momentarily stopped the performance due to the lack of participation from the crowd. He didn’t like the fact that they weren’t clapping along.

Judd Apatow took aim at President Donald Trump, Jeff Bezos, the “It Ends With Us” litigation spree and himself in his opening monologue Saturday at the 77th annual DGA Awards.
Apatow, of course, riffed on how the country has taken a sharp turn to the right since the last DGA Awards, and he gently poked fun at Hollywood for its eager embrace of diversity and boundary-pushing issues that are now in the crosshairs of President Donald Trump and his far-right brigade of reformers.
“My new pronouns are ‘We’re fucked,’ ” Apatow said from the stage of the Beverly Hilton. The multihyphenate filmmaker and TV producer hosted the DGA Awards for the third year in a row, and the sixth time since 2018.
Commenting on how many rich and powerful figures have worked to curry favor with Trump, Apatow cracked, “I feel like I’m one compliment away from being Secretary of the Interior.

Similar to Carrie Underwood’s performance on Inauguration Day, Billy Ray Cyrus’ 12-minute stint onstage at President Trump’s Liberty Inaugural Ball Monday was plagued with technical difficulties. Following the televised show, Cyrus defended his decision to perform and responded to viewers critical of his performance.
“I wouldn’t have missed the honor of playing this event whether my microphone, guitar and monitors worked or not,” Cyrus wrote in an Instagram post Tuesday. “I was there because President Donald J. Trump invited me.”

What Did Megyn Kelly Say About Jennifer Lopez During Donald Trump’s Rally? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Megyn Kelly took center stage and aimed her sharp criticism squarely at Jennifer Lopez, blending political jabs with personal digs at Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again Victory Rally in Washington, DC.
The rally, held just a day before Trump’s inauguration, drew thousands to the Capitol One Arena. Kelly used her platform to mock the Let’s Get Loud singer for her outspoken support of Kamala Harris during the 2024 election.

Monday, January 20, was supposed to be all about writing a new chapter in the United States of America’s history textbook. As Donald Trump was getting ready to be sworn in as the 47th President of the country, Kid Rock somehow managed to steal the spotlight for himself after he dared to do something absolutely inappropriate on live television – flirt with the reporter.

Robert James Ritchie aka Kid Rock is an American musician and a staunch supporter of the Republican Party. Needless to say, he was available to extend his support for the returning President but little did we know that things would take such a questionable turn.

Washington — Everybody in a position of power failed to protect you from this.
Many of those same people and leaders are now cashing in, paying millions in protection money, or laughing about what has happened. Others are pretending there was nothing they could do to stop it — and preemptively surrendering now.
On this cold Monday afternoon in the nation’s capital, a twice-impeached convicted felon was inaugurated in the very building where his attempt to steal an election four years ago left pools of blood. Donald Trump beat the damning...

Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States on Monday. The event has become an easy way for the rich and powerful to curry favor with the incoming administration. Trump’s inaugural committee has raised around $200 million since he won the election, according to The New York Times, which adds that major donors are being placed on wait lists or being told they will not be able to land VIP tickets.

Donald Trump told a pre-inaugural, Maga-heavy rally that “TikTok is back,” as he has pledged to sign an executive order that will give the social media platform more time amid a new U.S. law requiring a divestiture from its Chinese parent ByteDance.
Trump said that he wants the United States to have a 50% ownership of the platform in a joint venture, but it is unclear exactly what that would entail and whether ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, would agree to such conditions.
“We’re not putting up any money,” Trump said. “All we’re doing is given them the approval without which they don’t have anything. It sounds like that works, what do you think, good?”

The best laid plans for Donald Trump’s inauguration — the pomp and circumstance of the outdoor Capitol swearing-in ceremony followed by a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue — have been stymied by Mother Nature.
With the forecast of Arctic blast moving into Washington on Monday, bringing wind chills in the teens or even lower, Trump said earlier Friday that some of the biggest events will be moved inside.
When Trump and Jd Vance take the Oath of Office, that will be in the Capitol Rotunda, witnessed by a far smaller crowd, perhaps only about 1,000. The parade will be moved to Capital One Arena, about two miles away, and Trump has promised that he will join his supporters there after the Capitol Hill ceremonies.
That said, other indoor events on inauguration weekend will go as planned, with a bevy of parties, balls and cocktail receptions planned for Trump’s ardent supporters and allies,...

In a recent conversation with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Kid Rock (real name Robert James Ritchie) shared his disdain for former president Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, and her decision not to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
Kid Rock said that this was inappropriate and childish behavior. Ritchie proclaimed, “I would kindly like to remind Michelle that years back when Obama was first elected, I did not vote for him, but they asked me to play at the inauguration…I played it, I went, I had a good time. I went out of respect for the presidency, I would kindly remind Miss Michelle about that.”
Questioned why he thought Michelle was skipping the ceremony, Ritchie said, “I don’t know, she seems a little angry. I can’t say something nice.”

Back in 2000, Nelly implored Donald Trump to “let me in now” on his breakout hit, “Country Grammar (Hot Shit).” More than two decades later, the St. Louis rapper is reportedly set to live out that dream at one of the incoming President’s official three inaugural balls.
According to Semafor reporter Kadia Goba, Nelly has been slated to perform at the Liberty Inaugural Ball, which will take place on Monday, January 20th following Trump’s inauguration and presidential parade, among many other planned events.

We don’t need to delve into why, do we?
Donald Trump has been elected President on two separate occasions, yet he’s likely the most polarizing person on the planet — with many believing he’s a racist, a rapist, a fascist or some combination of all these things.

Carrie Underwood is set to perform at Donald Trump’s second inauguration.
The country music star will sing “America the Beautiful” during the Jan. 20 swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said in a statement. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”
The decision has shocked some of Underwood’s fans on social media given the “Last Name” singer doesn’t have a history of being political.

After a handful of appearances as Guy Fieri on Weekend Update, Bobby Moynihan took the impression to a whole new level on a December 2013 episode of SNL. The pre-taped fake Food Network promo began with Moynihan’s Fieri cackling like a madman while promoting “Guy Fieri’s Full Throttle Christmas Special,” co-hosted by Kid Rock (Brooks Wheelan), who enters via chimney.
Fieri/Moynihan then goes on to name-drop an insane parade of early 2010s reality TV personalities as the special’s guest stars — Criss Angel, Bret Michaels, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Big Ang from Mob Wives, the casts of Duck Dynasty and Pawn Stars — as well as, for no reason whatsoever, Verne Troyer and Mimi from The Drew Carey Show.
The promo also features the most insane Guy Fieri-like Christmas recipes imaginable, such as a stocking filled with bean dip and “Straight Cake” — as opposed to fruit cake — made from bacon and Matchbox cars.

Kid Rock is taking aim at the concert-ticket industry, and plans to work closely with the person who may have the biggest say in the matter when the new administration takes over the White House in January.
The “American Bad Ass” recently met with president-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, Pam Bondi, with plans to “open a can of whoop ass on the bots, scalpers, venues, ticketing companies, managers and artists alike who rip off and deceive the public.”

As Consequence pointed out earlier this year, tickets today cost two to three times as much as inflation-adjusted tickets from a few decades ago. On top of that, there’s been a number of high-profile ticket fiascos in recent years, including fan frustration with Live Nation and Ticketmaster over Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour,” and complaints over “dynamic pricing” for Bruce Springsteen’s 2023 tour.

The American South is a hot mess of cultural contradictions, and while those contradictions have stoked the dumpster fire of U.S. politics for a couple of centuries, they also happen to be fueling some of the best music being made right now. Just over two weeks after the 45th and soon-to-be 47th Potus sat down with the ex-Fear Factor host for a three hour interview on Rogan’s blockbuster podcast, the bromance took it up a notch Saturday at UFC 309 with a long hug between the two men and some clearly very kind words.
As expected, Trump showed up at Msg tonight to add some Commander-in-chief razzle dazzle to his old pal Dana White’s latest fight night.
The two-time impeached Trump had an entourage that included new-ish buddy Elon Musk, potential Hhs Secretary Rfk Jr., director of National Intelligence nominee Tulsi Gabbard, Kid Rock, Donald Trump Jr. and a clearly uncomfortable Speaker Mike Johnson. Increasingly scandalized Trump cabinet nominees Matt Gaetz and Peter Hegseth were nowhere to be seen.

Donald Trump, along with several of his controversial cabinet picks, made a surprise appearance at UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
While attending fights in the octagon is nothing new for Trump, having gone to several in the past, Saturday’s visit marked his first appearance since becoming president-elect.
Just before 10 p.m. Et, Trump walked out into the New York City arena, alongside UFC CEO Dana White, who has been a close ally to the president-elect throughout his 2024 election campaign, which ultimately saw him defeat Kamala Harris earlier this month.
Following behind were Elon Musk, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., his son Donald Trump Jr. and singer Kid Rock.
Earlier this week, Trump named Kennedy as his pick to run the Department of Health and Human Services. Musk, along with Vivek Ramaswamy, was also announced to lead Trump’s newly-created Department of Government Efficiency.

Kid Rock is an avid supporter of President-elect Donald Trump. He performed at several of the politician’s rallies and the 2024 Republican National Convention. Rumors circulated on social media that the rocker would team up with country artist Blake Shelton for a “non-woke” tour of states that overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Keep reading for all the details on the alleged tour.
Blake Shelton Teams Up With Kid Rock For ‘Non-Woke’ Tour?
Kid Rock’s political leanings are very clear. What about Blake Shelton? The country singer hasn’t been as vocal about his politics as some other musicians. In 2016, he tweeted, “Hey guys lets talk politics. I believe many of the challenges this nation faces today can be solved. And I’m just gonna say what I think.” But he never really followed up with further comment.
