When Greg Louganis, 57, first submitted his DNA to ancestry.com in late 2016—and confirmed the identity of his birth father, Fouvale Lutu — the Olympic diver never thought he’d find his birth mother as well.

“I didn’t realize I would pop up on other people’s pages as a relative,” says Louganis, who was given up for adoption at birth.

But in May, a woman reached out via ancestry.com and told him, “I think you might be my aunt’s son.”

On Mother’s Day he called his mom, retired medical assistant Cynthia Harris, 73, for the first time.

When news broke in the spring that gay and bisexual men in the Russian republic of Chechyna, Frederick Allen couldn’t believe it.

On Monday night, the celebrities paid tribute to their most memorable years with their routines, and Arlen chose 2017: the first year she finally feels free to follow her dreams, thanks to DWTS. Arlen’s emotional dance chronicled her life story and began with her in a wheelchair before she foxtroted across the floor with pro Val Chmerkovskiy.

The latest installment in the hit pop culture franchise premieres on Syfy Sunday, August 6 at 8/7c and will air in more than 100 countries. Sharknado 5: Global Swarming and the film's official tagline, "Make America Bait Again!," are the result of a fan-sourced social initiative launched this April. Calling on fans for inspiration, Syfy invited Facebook users to submit their most creative and outrageous ideas via an interactive bot.

In Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, the mission gets personal for Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and his bionic wife, April (Tara Reid) when their young son gets trapped in a traveling 'nado and transported all over the world.

It comes as no surprise that there is going to be another Sharknado movie, but with each announcement usually follows surprising, if not hilarious casting news. For the next installment, the Syfy TV movie will be going political. Today NBCUniversal announced the next title of the cable phenomenon: Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, with the tagline: "Make America Bait again."

Besides its iconic shark storms, the Sharknado films are known for their ridiculous amount of celebrity cameos and it sounds like Global Swarming will be no different. The Hollywood Reporter details the casting so far:

Back in April, the first promo photos and August premiere date for the fifth installment in the Sharknado franchise were revealed, and with fans keeping an eye on the shark-free (at least so far) skies of the summer storm season, Syfy and The Asylum are looking to get some chainsaws revved up early with the teaser art and list of cameos for the upcoming sequel, which has officially been named Sharknado 5: Global Swarming.

Sharknado 5 has a title -- and a whole lot of cameos!

Syfy announced on Thursday that the franchise's upcoming fifth installment is titled Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. The film will focus on Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and wife April Wexler's (Tara Reid) son getting whirled around the world in a tornado.

"From London to Rio, Tokyo, Rome, Amsterdam, and beyond, our globetrotting heroes will seek assistance from a highly-skilled squad of royals, scholars, and Olympians, enlisting famous faces from news, entertainment, and sports in their most epic battle yet," reads an official plot description. The official tagline for the movie, which was voted on by fans, is "Make America Bait Again!"
